The Heritage Service Group worked on our house in 2016. We received a full roof replacement. Clint and his group were always professional. The job was done in a day and the area outside was cleaned up pretty good. My only issue was I wish I knew the inside of my attic would be so messy afterwards. I would have maybe put down a tarp over my crawl space and or ask them to please clear out the debris from the attic for me. No leaks since then so we are happy! We would highly recommend Clint and his crew for any roofing needs!

Update: Since writing this post I have heard from Clint and he apologized for not communicating . He has informed me that he has made changes to his company in that area. He also has come out and fixed the areas of concern and has texted me since to make sure there are no leaks and that everything is well with the new roof. I appreciate his apology. He does good work and based on that I would recommend him. Clint Johnson was recommended to me and I called him to check a leak in the roof. He inspected the roof, fixed the leak, told me there was no damage to have insurance get involved but the roof needed to be replaced sooner rather then later. He did say if I use his company to replace the roof he would minus out the charge to fix the leak. In June after another leak, I agreed to have him replace the roof. I signed the contract, gave him half of the cost, he cashed the check right away. After 3 months of texting, calling and finally telling him I felt I had been scammed and did not want to be put off any longer he suddenly had an opening the very next day to replace the roof. Three months after cashing the check and several text later he replaced the roof. He then wanted to be paid right way. I was out of town and requested to actually see the roof before I pay the remaining fee. He stated he needed to be paid now. My neighbor informed me that the shingle on one side did not look right. I had him check that before I paid him and he did send someone out to replace the shingle. He was paid but I have found another area that needs to be checked. I have texted and have left vm and have yet to hear from him. That was Sept of 2018 and Jan 24 2019 I have yet to hear from him that he has checked the area of concern. Overall he is a nice guy and did good work. It was frustrating to get a hold of him but based on the work that was done I would recommend him.

We highly recommend Clint Johnson and Heritage Service Group. This relatively new business is being built on honesty and a commitment to quality workmanship. That is what will ultimately separate them from many of the more established contractors in the market. We speak from years of experience living a house built in 1959. We have installed a roof ourselves and also had a roof installed by a large company. Neither roof compared to the roof that Clint did for us. Our roof has been in place over a year through some significant weather ranging from heat to wind to rain to our recent blizzard. We have had zero problems. If we did, we would not hesitate to call Clint, knowing that he would personally inspect and repair any issues. Here's how the process worked when we called Clint. He personally inspected our roof (not random sales guy). He made a couple of small repairs while we worked through the budget to get ready for a new roof. He then helped us a select the perfect solution that included wood repairs and the proper underlayment to go with the shingles of our choice. The price estimate was outstanding, but at no time did we feel we were getting anything but the best possible product. We had done significant research into a variety of roofing solutions. Walking through the estimate with Clint, we found that his recommendations fit the recommendations in our research. When we had questions about shingle brands, he pointed us to some additional independent analysis rather than try to sell us on any one brand. His final price was the price he estimated. There were no surprises. He had the materials and the dumpster for the old roof in place one day prior to the crew arriving. On the day of the installation, the crew was efficient and courteous and completed the installation by the late afternoon. They used magnets to go around the house picking up stray nails and cleaned every bit of debris. Two of Clint's sons were there as well to assist the crew. Clint is teaching them a strong work ethic with a crew that he trusts. Clint was on site during our job and answered all our questions. We ended up paying a similar amount to the amount we paid 15 years ago for our previous roof. A few days after the job was complete, Clint followed up and inspected the roof. He found one shingle tab slightly askew and made sure it fit properly. This is the service you will get with Clint -- Attention down to every shingle tab from a guy starting a service business that he can be proud to not only serve customers, but also to teach his children. We highly recommend Heritage.

My wife and I recently hired Clint at Heritage Service Group to replace our roof. The job consisted of three part - framing the tie-in for our new addition, installing a new roof, and replacing our gutters. We had a difficult time finding a roofing company who could handle all these jobs as one project. Most roofers didn’t want to touch the framing. No framers wanted to take on the tie-in as a stand alone job. The only responses we got were from the mega roofing firms. Then a neighbor gave us Clint’s contact info, and we are so glad he did. Clint knew an excellent framer who was able to bring in a crew for the tie-in before Heritage started the re-roofing. When Clint came for the initial consultation, he spent extra time taking precise measurements. The sales guys from the mega firms wrote down two or three numbers and high tailed it to the next house. Clint, on the other hand, put in a significant investment of time walking the roof, identifying problems, and talking to us about the process. Our house had original ⅜ inch ply from the early 1960’s. We ended up having to replace about a third of the decking, but this was expected. Clint’s charge for fitting in these new sheets of OSB was very reasonable and explained to us before we hired him. I walked the roof with him after the tear off to mark which sheets we wanted to remove so there we no surprises. One touch we really appreciated was Clint’s willingness to use the shingle brand we wanted. Most roofers are set with which one they use. Our prior shingles, from what is probably the largest manufacture (I won’t say exactly which one), had a VERY short life. We definitely wanted to use a specific brand and Clint was able to do this. We also were fans of Heritage’s use of a dump trailer instead of a traditional dumpster. Our driveway is fairly slopped and I was fearful of damage to the concrete. It was wonderful to just have the trailer dropped off the evening before the job started and removed in a timely fashion after it was completed. It was a great job all around.
