I had used Payne for a small repair on my roof, so when a large chunk of my roof blew off in a storm, I hired them to replace the entire roof. What a mistake! I was out of the country for work, so did not see the job until after it was completed. When I returned, I found that they had put on the wrong roof color, and that they had put metal sheeting all over my stucco along the roof line. They ruined my home!!! When I called the company, the general manager came over and after looking at the original contract documents agreed things were wrong and said they would do whatever they needed to do to make me happy. I told him that I could live with the wrong color if they would take off some of the metal and repair the stucco. However when the owner of the company came over, he was very belligerent and not very interested in my problem. He offered me a couple of grand off the price and refused to fix the metal sheeting. What a joke! Avoid, avoid, avoid this company.

Had a flat roof repaired by Payne Roofing. I would give this company 6 out of 5 stars if I could. They got me in fast, and did a great job. Geoff Jones did the work on our roof and is the best I have ever dealt with. Fast, efficient, and did a great job. Thanks Payne Roofing and Geoff Jones.

We begin by sending out huge KUDOS to Robert Sanchez (Field Supervisor), and Evelyn, (Office Manager); in the end we were very pleased with the final outcome of the job done by Payne Roofing. Before our decision, we had obtained 6 estimates (Payne being one of) to have a new roof installed. Payne Roofing is not the least expensive but they are local and had good reviews, so we arranged for a sales rep to provide us with an estimate. He was thorough and knowledgeable so we were confident we had made the right choice. As the actual work began, things started out rough due to some misrepresentation as well as lack of communication and response on the part of the sales rep. Rest assured, all of this was rectified by Robert and Evelyn! PROS: The office manager Evelyn wants to make certain that customers are happy from start to finish (the way it should be). She knows her stuff; thank you Evelyn! The workers are hard- working, showed up on time, and worked very long days! Robert Sanchez (Field Supervisor) was amazing!!! We found him to be polite, honest, reliable, patient and forthright by addressing our concerns. Robert went above and beyond by not only being responsive, but also addressed and rectified our concerns relative to the miscommunication and the misrepresentation from our sales rep. CONS: Our Sales Rep needed to represent the company honestly as well as to be responsive. We get it that after the sale, the reps are out of the picture, however, if they are contacted by the customer with concerns on day one of the job via text, or a call, a courtesy response to at least advise that someone else will contact us to address things is common courtesy and makes good business sense.

“Payne” is accurate. Before I bought my house I had them come out and give me an estimate to repair the roof per my home inspector who recommended them. At the time they gave me a very reasonable quote that I was happy with, and I fully intended to have the work done. However about a month later once I was in the home, I called them to schedule the repair and they said their quotes were only good for thirty days and I needed a new one. So they sent the guy back out and when they emailed me the new estimate it was well over $5,000! I was floored! I realized what they sent me was to REPLACE the roof, not repair. Thinking I had not been clear initially in my request, I emailed them back to explain that I only wanted to make the original repairs, and attached the first quote I had received. At this point they emailed me back stating that the “roof is far beyond the point of repair”. Ok so let me get this straight, one month ago it was perfectly fixable but thirty days has caused so much damage that it’s now beyond repair? Did we have a tornado come through that I was unaware of?? In my opinion they saw my repair as not a valuable use of their time and if I wasn’t going to shell out 5k then they didn’t want to bother with me. Excellent business practice. Would highly NOT recommend dealing with this dishonest company. Also informed my realtor of the outcome and warned him against recommending it to his future clientele.

I had a great experience with payne roofing. I knew everything that was going on with my roof. The production manager Robert Sanchez made sure everything everything went smoothly as possible. My yard was the way it was left , I didn't see no trash on the ground at all. A big thank you to Payne roofing for doing the job right and another big thank you to Robert Sanchez for holding my hand threw the whole job and keeping me updated.
