Here's why I continue to work with Vanderlaan after 28 years... Recently I had a new roof put on my home. During the process an unfortunate and unexpected heavy rain storm occurred without enough time to cover up all my un-shingled roof. Unfortunately some water did get into the attic and caused some wet insulation and drywall discoloration. That's the bad part... Now for what matters... The next day Eric G. our contact at Vanderlaan personally came and inspected our home and worked up a game plan to have everything taken care of ASAP. He assured me that they would take care of the issues this unfortunate event caused. The next day they sent in a person to inspect the entire attic for water and remove wet insulation so everything could dry out. The person spent a significant amount of time looking for any potential area of problem. Knowing they were taking my problem as seriously as I was was a huge comfort! We still have a few steps to restore everything: Insulation and some paint work, but again Eric G. contacted me with a plan before I had to ask... They really are trying to make everything right! My family has been using Vanderlaan for over 28 years on various projects on multiple buildings and sometimes its when you have a problem that you find out why you work with a particular company.
