When we first met Randy, we seemed to understand each other; he was easy to chat with and very friendly. But six months later, fed up with the shoddy workmanship and phonecall responses (can't quote an unrecorded/documented conversation, right?) to emails detailing our concerns, we paid the company the remainder of the bill just so they WOULDN'T come back and 'fix' things.

Project: Add a landing and set of stairs to an existing deck We worked with a number of contractors to get ideas and quotes for this project. We made the decision to go with Hoyer Construction for the following reasons: 1. Hoyer was able to perform all aspects of the project from start to finish including handling the building permit and inspections. This was a major factor for us as I've done this myself before and it is an extremely tedious process 2. Reputation: We performed a great deal of research and only found positive feedback and results for Hoyer 3. Price: Hoyer's quote was very competitive. They were actually lower than some of the quotes from non-licensed contractors 4. Design: Hoyer worked with us, listened to our ideas, and then presented proposals and quotes for two of the most feasible options. They then walked through both in great detail Outcome: We couldn't be happier with the end result for our project. The quality is amongst the best I've ever seen. We've built several houses and have done several decks, remodels, etc. The work was completed within the timeline discussed. The communication was second to none. Hoyer communicated with us several times per week on status and next steps and we always knew what was coming next. Finally, Hoyer was there with us until we passed the final inspection. We will definitely use Hoyer Construction again in the future and they will be #1 on my list when providing referrals to others.

We had two pretty severe leaks in our roof that were not disclosed by the seller of our home. We had been living here 3 months when we realized there was a leak. We called several roofing companies and no one called us back except Hoyer. They came out the very next day and did an estimate. We signed a contract with them one week later on a Monday and we had a new roof by Friday afternoon. Amazing, accommodating, understanding staff. Great quality. Great communication. They did a superb job. They didn't try to over sell to us. They were honest and on time. Today they came back to recheck the roof to make sure everything looks good before the big storm we are supposed to get tonight. What great customer service. I would recommend these guys to anyone and I will be calling them again for siding and redoing our deck. Great company. I can't thank them enough for the great work they did.
