Case in point: The wisest course before embarking upon such a project like re-roofing your home is to obtain bids from different contractors. I personally like to get three bids from individuals that on the front end have positive recommendations. That said, this time around I am actually obtaining a fourth bid. The reason? The bid proposal from McDowell's was so far out of the ball park compared to my other two bids, which were reasonably close, that it was hard to classify it as legit. Yes, I was comparing "apples with apples." Perhaps, I was considered "ripe for the picking."

Claude was great to work with. He was able to work meetings around my schedule and he was patient as we decided on roof color. Once we decided they had our roof done on the first day the weather allowed. He also was available for follow up to make sure everything was fine after a windstorm. I highly recommend him.
