This company is a joke. Last summer they did several spots on WLOX and even had a drawing for a free roof which I won. The owner (Joshua Carr) came to my house went through the whole sales pitch and presented me with a contract with a 0$ balance due for the new roof. This all happened in August of 2018 and I have only spoken to him once since and that was for him to reschedule the roof installation for the following week due to weather. I have called repeatedly but he does not answer the phone. Fyi his brother is a Mississippi politician.

My husband and I hired Black Pearl Roofing after being highly recommended by our general contractor for an 700 sq ft Office that we added on to our home. They went above and beyond the scope of work doing things like coming back multiple times to clean up nails in the yard to make it safer for the kids to play. Also as good practice we always check on the Mississippi’s Secretary of State website to make sure the professionals we hire are Licensed and Insured. Black Pearl Roofing is DEFINITELY LICENSED AND INSURED. It’s very easy to check yourself for anybody you are hiring.
