The WORST Ever If I could give negative stars I would do so. This company is the absolute WORST. It's been over 3 years and I’m still experiencing problems with their shoddy work and follow through. The most recent (but far from the only) issue is unforgivable. We found out, after having to pay for another company to come out is that Carolina Roofing installed a BATHROOM VENT FAN instead of a Dryer Vent Fan on the roof attached to the dryer run. Needless to say the bathroom vent fan doesn't work on a dryer and lint was backing up, clogging the dryer and creating a FIRE hazard. We were extremely lucky we didn’t have a fire. This wrong vent, created back up in the line of water and lint. It started leaking when there was no where else for it to go and leaking from the dryer line onto the floor of laundry room and into the ceiling and down through to the first floor! We’ve called again and again and have been assured that the problems would be resolved. They FINALLY put an actual dryer vent on, but despite guarantees to address the other issues, there’s been nothing done! The most recent correspondence was a promise to have their repair guy contact us within a few days, it’s been over a week and NOTHING. We’ve followed up again and again with no response back. Time to enlist legal help. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! They are TERRIBLE!!! Added note: the company did finally send out contractors to fix the damage done by the problems created by the incorrect vent. The repair work was done well. That being said, I still have extremely bad feelings as I cannot recoup the time, energy and effort this took out of our schedules and the stress it caused.

I like personal attention, honest rate quotes (charges what was quoted), promptness (arrive when they say they will) and professional workmanship! Terry Lewis provided all the above and made sure the finished project was to my specs and satisfaction. Price was fair and work was completed swiftly and looks great. We have gutters and gutter guards which had never been installed on our "new to us" home. We look forward to future projects with Terry and crew.

Hired Carolina Roofing and Vinyl Siding to explore a hail damage claim on my roof. I had the usual storm chasers ringing my doorbell, but had heard stories of shoddy workmanship, sub-standard materials, and poor follow-through. I asked a contractor who has done excellent work for me, and whom I trusted, what to do. He recommended Carolina Roofing and Vinyl Siding. I met with Brent Fortuny of CR&VS. I was impressed by his professionalism, by his knowledge of the entire insurance claim process, and by his expertise in roofing itself. He was known to my insurance company, and the claims inspector they sent to my residence. It was quite clear that he was respected by these parties. To be brief, he prepared my claim, submitted it to the insurance company, and succeeded in replacing my entire roof -- which was over 20 years old -- with a brand new, 50-year guaranteed, GAF architectural roof. My only expense was my deductible. Communications through the entire process were exemplary -- scheduling, delivery of material, replacement of the roof, submitting documents to the insurance company. I hardly had to lift a finger. Brent was always available to answer my questions. He was thorough, professional, reliable and as good as his word. Whether you are submitting a damage claim, or looking for an outstanding roofer to replace and old roof or install a new one, I strongly recommend CR&VS. Ask for Brent.

I was referred to Brent and Carolina Roofing by a trusted contractor (Natalie and Mark from Superior Powerwashing) that I use for various small projects around my house. Brent came out and did a very thorough inspection of my roof, even taking pictures to show me problem areas and recommended I needed a new roof. He explained the process his team would take to replace my roof as well as helped me understand how to file my insurance claim since the damage was from hurricane Florence. His team arrived exactly when expected and were very polite and professional. They were extremely well organized and cleaned as they went! They finished my roof on time (which has very steep pitches and several different angles) in just over a day including all clean up. I can’t thank Brent and his team enough for such a great job and positive experience! In comparison, my next door neighbor used a company called Feazel and I ended up with a ton of debris and nails in my yard and driveway which they never completely cleaned up despite me asking several times. The Feazel team also damaged several of my gardenia bushes and never even replied to my messages about it. I am so glad I chose Carolina Roofing and would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
