This review submitted by this person with a false name is inappropriate with no truth to this statement in NO WAY. This person needs psychological attention and our dealings with him is currently being handled in the court system. I have never even seen or spoke with this person and he is slandering my name as well as our son. We know who this person is and we are handling it in the appropriate way. WARNING (UPDATE BELOW)- Do business with this man only if you want to lose your money and get nothing in return. He says all the right things and gives consistently low estimates to get people to advance him money for building materials, then never does the job. He even draws up contracts to give a false sense of security. If you are lucky, he simply stops taking your calls after getting money from you. If not, he tears part of your roof off and leaves it to ruin in the rain. Michael Gray Flippin (alias Mike Flippen) is a man never to be trusted. His wife Missy and son Michael Austin are no more trustworthy. He claims to be a good Christian man (as does his wife Missy when she posts fake reviews online), but cares nothing for his neighbors or fellow man in general. He is only interested in carp fishing and his own well-being. It is also the opinion of several people who have met him that he is on some type of drugs, which would explain where the money goes. Beware, if he manages to con his favorite amount (between $2000 and $3000) from you, you will NEVER see your money again. If you don't believe any of this, just take a look at the public records in Surry county- some of his many court cases will show up. If there is any justice in the world, this man will never be able to swindle any more elderly women or desperate people on a fixed income. Update- Missy is right- her husband's many crimes are being handled by the legal system as we speak. If you doubt anything I say, it is all a matter of public record. The judgements against him are real, as are the felony charges. You can't commit liable or slander when what you say is true and directed towards saving others from criminal behavior. She only responded because my reviews and the actions being taken by those scammed have hindered their ability to cheat anyone else. As for my name- only idiots post under their real name on the internet. Besides, there are so many victims of Mike's deck and roof shenanigans that it would be hard to pinpoint exactly who this is for certain. Consider my name legion, for we are many.
