Probably one of the best roofing companies in SLO county! My friend referred me to Mid State Roofing after having his whole roof done. I am very pleased with the repair service Wade and his crew provided on my house.

I am positively ecstatic about the roofing job that Mid State Roofing just completed for me on 8/21/2015. The owner Wade helped me every step of the way from beginning to end as I initially knew nothing about installing a new roof. He was helpful in educating me about the various composition shingles, venting systems, underlayments, and warranties. I selected the highest quality of materials and purchased a 50-year warranty that is non-prorated and transferable to a future owner. I simply cannot stop staring at my beautiful roof as I drive home each day. Wade's employees could not have been harder workers and were always pleasant, polite, and respectful...a real joy to have at my home for a solid week. I keep telling my neighbors, friends and family to come look at my roof now that it is finished; they are all very impressed. Many thanks to Wade and all his staff.

One of the few roofers that you can get ahold of in North County. I will say that the work was decent how ever I would not suggest to anyone. The owner initially was trying to collect for the job without one of the licenced roofers coming to inspect the job. I insisted that this happened before paying. Also very expensive for what was actually done. 2500$ for. A patch job. When I priced out the materials and hourly rate that three workers would get the total was about 1000$ and that is being generous. Trying to figure out where the other 1500 goes. Everyone can make there own assessment I am just sharing my experience.

Does not accept credit cards. Clean up good but left old wood for days at job site called several times for pick up. My new 4x4's were taken (no such sizes used on roofs)and not returned, just wrong to take mine. Owner angry because I waited to pay after debris cleared; TRIED TO CHARGE ME EXTRA for not paying until a couple weeks later, claimed it was for the wood he bought- 200.00 More. I paid entire invoice for roof material and labor to their building supplier by credit card for entire job....unconventional and curious. Price went up I believe. also, both I and my realtor were told independently by owner the shingles were 50 year Warrantee. Looked up GAP PRODUCT AND FOUND THEY ARE 40 YEAR discovered when I requested a copy of the warrantee. Selling home and told buyers wrong info as it was wrong info givin from the roofing co. Be cautious.

I needed a roof inspection asap while I was in escrow to purchase a home and these guys were on it when it came to an appt to get out to the property. Problem was, although the guy have me a verbal on phone about the roof, I never got the written report to turn into escrow. I had to call almost 2 weeks later and ask for the report. A little flaky on their part. Unprofessional.
