Whatever you do, don’t use Bland Company for Solar or Air Conditioning. They will sale you the moon & leave you stranded on it. Then they will tell you it’s your fault you bought it. I have spent almost 40,000 for solar, a Fujitsu Mini Split air & heating system and servicing them every 6 months for the past 3 years. The Fujitsu system must be deep cleaned annually due to build up & possible mold. I was never told this when I purchased it. I thought it was being cleaned properly every 6 months for the last 3 years. After finding out it hasn’t been cleaned properly all this time (which they blame us for), Bland has come out 3 times to deep clean it. The last tech said they could not take the blower wheel out to clean (which is required) because it was installed incorrectly, it cant be removed to clean without removing the foam & he left it dirty again. I called them Monday & asked for my money back. I received a call from the CEO today who said they will send me any money they owe me (because I already paid for 2 services for the year) and to take my business elsewhere. I called Benchmark Air today & explained what I have been going through. They could not believe what they heard, because the blower wheel must be removed to clean in order to get to the back of the unit to inspect for mold and this should be done annually. They will be out on Tuesday to clean it properly. Update to the response from Bland Company below. Total lies. The time was a total of 3.5 hours. Showing up 3.25 hours after the scheduled service of 2 to 4 pm. Arrived at 7:09 pm and left at 10:38 pm and still did not clean behind the blower wheel where the mold would be hiding. The gunk is from not cleaning it for 3 years, when I believed they were cleaning it all along. The reach out to me was the CEO telling me off and saying to take my business elsewhere. For $50K they installed two air units and a solar system they stated would cover my yearly electrical cost. First year it cost me ~$2,500 and this year is showing a true up of ~$1,500. Not quite 2 years in both air conditioners failed at the same time. They came out the following day and found the main units condenser unit fan failed and the other a single room unit was low on Freon. They added freon and fixed the single room unit, not sure if they checked for a leak but low on Freon in less then two years seems way to soon. The other unit they said they would order the part and try to be back the following day, maybe the day after. Three days later my wife called them, and they said it would probably be the following week. My wife was not happy so the moved it up to late the next day. I told her to call them back and let them know I was going to write a bad review on the internet so they moved it to earlier the following day and the technician called me and we had a lengthy conversation and he stated he had no control over when the part comes in. I asked him where the part was at this current time and he stated here in town. Take this how you would like but I’m not very happy with Bland Air and Solar. Really just the Air conditioning side!

Very happy with my experience with Bland Solar. From start to finish they kept in good contact with me, were quick to respond to any issues in a professional manner, and overall provided great service. My setup is a 20 panel LG system that looks sharp and is producing power as expected. It's a good feeling to no longer be a prisoner of PG&E. No complaints here....would definitely recommend!

I thought all the way they will be proactively informing me of the process. But half the time I am the one who followed up with them. They started installing 3 days ago and told me they will be back next day to instll the panel. They even left a box on my roof. I reach out to chad to check when are they coming back but no response so far. I have visitors on this weekend and what a thing to show that there is a box on top of my roof. I even recommended them to my boss (my boss went with them)and this is how they repay me. Until now I dont know when they are coming back. I wont recommend them to my other friends.

Bland Solar did a stellar job installing my solar panels. It was a two day project start to finish for 30 some panels. I’ve had the system 2 full summers now and it has dramatically lowered my electric bills. I keep the house very comfortable and my wife doesn’t slap my hand every time I touch the thermostat anymore. The Bland Solar Employees were all very professional and knew exactly what they were doing. My neighbor on the other hand had Solar City put panels on their home. The Solar City guys fooled around for a week blasting thier radio, all while purposely tormenting my animals and throwing Taco Bell all over the street and in my yard. So it wasn’t hard to decide where I wasn’t going! Bland Solar is the best in the business you won’t be sorry!
