UODATE November, 2018. Now comes the real test with the rain. So far no problems with the roof. However the gutters they installed are another issue. We had some gotchas with that part of the job. Now that the rains have started, one of the gutters is draining toward the living room slider. Prior to their install we NEVER had this problem. Their response so far has been underwhelming to say the least. We expected a better response than send pictures & look at the contract. We'll see if they correct the problem this week since we are expect more rain. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Don, Lisa, Julio, & the entire crew just completed our roofing job. H2O was recommended by 1 of neighbors. & now we are highly recommending them also. They completely repaired & re-roofed our tile roof, flashing, including doing things such as installing decking where there was none, etc., & re-doing numerous things that had been done incorrectly when this 1980s home was initially built. We can't say enough good things about Julio who was in charge of our project. He is amazing & stayed on top of everything the entire time. The whole crew was excellent & hard working. No one goofed off. H2O can be proud of their work ethic and company representation. We will be looking forward to future rainy seasons with no leaks. (And several of our neighbors have complemented us on the new roof, a testament to the job H2O did.)

Excellent job by Don Cox and his team. I needed a new roof on my detached garage, but it's very difficult to get any small roofing jobs done here on the Monterey Peninsula. After contacting several larger local roofing contractors with no success, I found Nor-Cal H20 Proofing. They were very professional and responsive, completed the project quickly, and their pricing was very reasonable. Very happy with the work, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Although very late in the season to start worrying about rain, I had a flat-roof resurfacing job at my home that demanded IMMEDIATE attention. The needed repair had slipped my mind, as I was in the process of interior-refurbishing another home at the time. In doing extensive research as to whom I should trust the water-proofing integrity of my home, 'H2o Proofing Services' name repeatedly came to the forefront, as the one company that was simply outstanding in the field of roofing. They were contacted, and information began its flow in both directions. The original roofing material on my flat roof was EPDM, (rubber sheeting) and I fully expected to replace it with the same material. However, in discussing this fact with Don Cox, head of H2o Proofing Services, he fully-dissuaded me, and instead recommended 'TPO', a PVC sheeting material, as a far better solid-sheeting solution for my flat roof. Don additionally forwarded informative brochures to provide me with additional facts that fully substantiated his recommendation. Following a review of the work that needed doing, Don's cost-estimate seemed quite acceptable, and his company was soon awarded the contract. Work commenced shortly thereafter. Three specialized, and well organized, teams of Don's performed the work: one to strip the old material, and prepare the roof to receive the new fiber-glass panels and the TPO cover; a second team, additionally-needed, to remove and replace some unexpected dry-rot; and the final team-member to actually lay, and secure, the glass panels & TPO membrane. All the work was completed within a matter of a few days, and was handled most professionally, and expeditiously with a great bunch of PROFESSIONAL TEAM MEMBERS that were conscientious, considerate, and well-versed in their assigned tasks! I cannot provide praise enough for these skilled technicians. When completed, there was nothing that remained on-site, except another well executed job, completed on-time, by H2o Proofing Services. Kudos to all the personnel at the company that participated in this task! They are NOW my 'go-to' people from here on out, for additionally needed work! 5 Stars? …..YOU BET!! R. H2O Proofing is top-notch! Don is extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise, and an all-around excellent person with high integrity as well. With Don, I immediately knew that we were in competent and trustworthy hands, which, having logged many years of construction, I know is a rare gift. We got a great new roof, and in a speedy timeframe to boot! I can't recommend Don and H2O Proofing highly enough.

We had the company give us a quote to repair some major dry rot damage and a complicated roof ventilation system on a house we were planning to purchase. Their initial inspection helped us to document the needed repairs as we worked with the seller on the price. After the close, they installed a great solution. Throughout the project they sent photos to keep us up to date with the progress. We were delighted that the same company could coordinate all of the work that needed to be performed; and, they even installed the rain barrels we had picked up at Costco to work with our new gutters. It is hard to express the sense of relief we feel in knowing that we are prepared for the rain.
