Our 18 unit condominium complex hired Allied Waterproofing Systems, Inc. to perform a major waterproofing project. We are totally satisfied with the results. The majority of units had water seeping into their subterranean utility rooms and on the stairways leading down to the utility rooms. After the project all of our water leaks stopped and we are completely leak free. Justin, the company owner, spent hours investigating and testing the source of our water leaks. He determined that our subterranean exterior garden walls were built without a waterproof membrane, the exterior stucco walls lacked weep screeds in some places, our old waterproof membrane was improperly installed around our three court yard brick planters, our patio sliding glass doors & front doors did not have metal flashing installed under the doors, and some rain gutters which were routed through chimneys were leaking. We had several other companies bid on our project but they only did cursory inspections, no testing, and failed to identify the source of our water leaks. None of them submitted scopes as comprehensive as Allied Waterproofing, Inc. Allied Waterproofing, Inc. workers were on time, courteous, cleaned up every day, and secured our complex every night. Gus, their onsite supervisor met with me each morning to discuss the plan for the day. We were giving several days warning when access to our courtyard would be restricted. Their attention to small details was impressive. When new scope change items were identified, the additional costs were quickly estimated, and a formal written proposal was submitted for approval within two days. Toward the end of the project, punch list items were identified and dealt with in a timely manner. Unlike other companies, Allied Waterproofing addressed each punch list item to our satisfaction. Unlike other contractors who try to abandon a project as soon as it is completed, Justin continues to monitor our complex to insure that we are completely satisfied with his company's work. I highly recommend Allied Waterproofing, Inc. and we plan on using them for our future exterior upgrade project.
