We had a roof installed by them 4 years ago and have called them out a few times because of leaks. We had a leak and called them and found out that the roof access hatch hadn't been secured from the last visit. The technician replaced and secured the hatch which took him all of about 30 minutes. We then developed a new leak at the front of the building and called them to come out to see if they could find out where the leak was. They determined that we needed waterproofing which we agreed to get done. They said someone would call us to schedule the service. No one ever called so we called and were told that they were back logged and that someone would call. Again no call back. We called again after a heavy rain and never got a call back. We did however receive a bill for $388 which we called and questioned. We were told that the technician had been here on both visits for over 5 hours and that they charged $225 for a service call and that we lucky that we only got charged $388. I told them that no one had told us that they charged for service calls. I was told that someone would call back to discuss this with us. No one ever called back. We got a call last week from Vern who we called back and talked to about the situation. I asked her at the time if they charged for service calls and she said yes, $175 but if we had the work done that would be waived. I told her that we did want the work done and she said she would call us back once she found out what was going on. Again no call back. We did however get another copy of the bill with a Past Due Notice saying if we had any questions to call. So I called again and was told that the technician had been here for 5 hours I said that is fine but that we were charged for a service call. Vern then changed her story and said that they did charge for calls even if we wanted the work done. Needless to say, it has not been a very pleasant experience and will not use this company nor recommend them to business in our downtown area.
