Highly recommended! Very professional and have a lot of knowledge about roofing. They show up on time and do the job as discussed. They clean up after there work and make sure the customer is satisfied before they leave.

I had a very slow leak in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. I called Segelman Shaw to check in the crawl space for where the leak was coming from. They totally mis-diagnosed the problem, told me I needed to have pipe collars replaced. They replaced 2 of them, cost me hundreds of dollars & didn't help. The leak continued. I called a handyman, he went into the crawl space, showed me how based on the where the leak was, the water could not possibly have come from the pipe collars. He then found the problem which was a crack in part of the PVC vent pipe itself. Replaced that part of the pipe & leak stopped. There was only one place where it was leaking. The roof was 15 years old on a new house and was 100% in good condition. Roofer stated as a 'fact' was I asked if he was, that the leak was coming from the vent pipe going through the roof & had to be re-sealed. If one were to follow what the roofer said to where the leak was in the house, the reality is that the water could not have been from where he said. Additionally, I asked if since this one needs to be re-sealed, if the second vent that goes through the roof will ultimately have the same problem & he said yes. I then gave him the OK to re-seal that one as well. Bottom line is that neither of them was the problem, even though he said he was sure. The leak had nothing to do with the air conditioner itself & calling down an air conditioner person first would not have solved any problem, since it wasn't caused by the air conditioner. The handyman found the problem on a lower somewhat horizontal part of the vent pipe where there was a hair line crack. It had nothing to do with the roof. The roofer said it was caused by the pipe not being sealed properly by the roof. I asked if he was sure & he responded 100%. Had he not said that he was sure, that was the problem, then I would not have wasted money re-sealing it and re-sealing the second pipe that he said will have the same problem. If a roofer doesn't know what the problem is, he should say so & not make something up that doesn't resolve the problem. If they are not sure, they should come back when its raining or snow melting to rule in or out their theory, which in this case was wrong!!

The new roof was installed in a day, looks great and the price was very reasonable for the quality of work done, and they cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. Highly recommended!
