We have used this company for different jobs now and our last experience has confirmed we will be advising our landlord never to use them again. They spent an hour unpacking and repacking their van on multiple occasions when they finally called me they said that my bell was broken and they'd been waiting for an hour. Tested the bell and was working fine. If you need multiple days for a job and they send a new plumber fully expect the new plumber to tell you that all the work the previous plumber did was wrong and they need to do something else. Or as was the case today they actually repeated what the previous plumber had already done. Use a different company if you value your money.

I used this company before on my rented property only in emergencies as I found they are expensive but quality of workmanship is only okay ish. The recent experience has proved that it was totally a mistake and will never use them again. They are only interested in taking money off you as much as they could and customer care is non-existent. They billed me half an hour extra for the time the gas engineer spent on fiddling around his handheld device as the work start time was incorrect. When complained, they said I have not presented any evidence to support what I was telling is true. The gas engineer spent excessive amount of time trying to find out what is the problem with the boiler not firing up and this involves numerous phone calls to the office seeking advice what to do/where to check etc. and long waiting time trying to get connected over the phone all at my cost. I feel like I was paying for someone doing long distant tutoring course on site. This is what they call an 'experienced and qualified person'. I explained to the gas engineer whom I normally use for a second opinion in a later date. Had him not being on holiday, I would never had called Aspect in the first place. He said problem like this should be fixed easily within an hour or two but I was being charged over £600 for the job. Overall, dishonest and unprofessional and STAY AWAY from this company is all I can say.

For a damage in our flat the insurance company required 2 different quotes. Called Aspect and on the phone they told us they could provide 2 different quotes. Made an appointment for next day 6pm to get the quotes. They called me at 1pm, they wanted to come to the flat "I am at work, appointment is at 6pm!". At 6pm no one came. At 6:15 I called to ask if they forgot about appointment. Told me a worker was on his way but stuck in traffic. Why they didn't call to let me know? At 7pm worker came viewed the work to do. Next day Aspect took 72 pounds from my account only for the quote!!! Not good impression.

If there was a negative score or zero star rating i would select that. These people are crooks. I was advised a simple guttering problem didn't justify a survey, that it could be handled within an hour call out and although I tried to insist on a survey first, it was refused. An appointment was made for between 1-3pm at the normal hourly rate and I was assured the work would be completely in an hour and I was quoted a price. The engineers were held back and told to come closer to 5pm which is billed at a different higher tariff. They billed me three hours to wash out a gutter and to look at the roof. I cannot stress more - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have a completely dishonest work ethic and are totally immoral. Having read the other reviews - i'm not surprised at the poor rating. NEVER NEVER use them

**TIP TO SAVE MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY** IF YOU ARE GIVEN A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE **NEVER ACCEPT IT** AND JUST PUT THE PHONE DOWN. THEIR POOR, CALL MONITORED STAFF ARE FORCED TO PHONE BACK "AMBULANCE CHASER" STYLE BY COMPANY POLICY AND THEN OFFER YOU A RANGE OF INCREASING AND CONSIDERABLE DISCOUNTS THE MORE YOU SAY IT IS STILL TOO EXPENSIVE. THIS COMPANY REALLY DOES MASSIVELY OVERCHARGE AT EYEWATERING RATES PER HOUR. THEIR BUSINESS MODEL IS SUCCESSFULLY BASED ON MOST PEOPLE CALLING ARE DESPERATE WITH EMERGENCIES AND HAVE LITTLE TIME TO RING AROUND TO SEEK ALTERNATIVE OR JUST MISTAKENLY THINK THIS IS A LARGE COMPANY SO THIS MUST BE THE STATUS QUO. EVEN WITH THE LARGE DISCOUNTS YOU ARE OFFERED YOU WILL STILL FIND CHEAPER ELSEWHERE BUT JUST AS IMPORTANTLY YOU MAY STAND A BETTER CHANCE OF GETTING A TRADESMAN TURN UP WHO IS NOT INADVERTENTLY ENCOURAGED BY COMPANY POLICY TO TRY AND DRAG THE JOB OUT TO TRY AND SUBSIDISE WHAT IS ALMOST CERTAINLY THE VERY LITTLE AMOUNT OF YOUR MONEY WHICH WILL BE GOING TO HIM... THE REASON YOU WILL READ SO MANY POOR REVIEWS OF THIS TYPE OF ACTIVITY.
