I have just had Steven replace the thatch ridge on our house and found his service excellent from start to finish. He was highly recommended by a trusted friend who has used his services in the past. Steven turned up at the agreed time to inspect the roof and gave us his expert opinion of what work was necessary to maintain it’s integrity and prolong the life of our roof. He kept the repair work to a minimum and offered a quote at the time of inspection along with a date for competing the work. Scaffolding was required which he organised and liaised with us in advance to agree when it would be erected. Steven was a pleasure to have working on our property, turning up on time, being very polite and friendly, working unobtrusively and efficiently. He was happy to show us what he was doing and explain the thatching process which was fascinating as well as informative for our future thatching requirements. The work was completed to a high standard, promptly and without mess.

We had Steven re-thatch our ridge and make some overdue repairs. He came to our home, assessed and quoted on the day showing his experience. He organised everything, thatching, scaffolding and even ordered a portaloo as we have a young baby and he did not wish to disturb us. He attended site when he said he would and updated us every day on his progress. He advised us of how to look after and maintain our thatch in the years to come. Steven was always polite and respectful to both us and our neighbours, and overcome some tricky access issues without complaint. When more work is required, we wouldn't hesitate calling Steven again.
