Came out when they said they would. Friendly good service. Inspected the roof thoroughly. Good price. Would recommend.

Whilst looking for someone to complete roofing repairs Nathan always responded within hours by email and text. He and his team arrived promptly to complete the work and were courteous.  It seemed they had completed an excellent job and left the site clean. All the early signs were very good but unfortunately the after sales service has left much to be desired.  After the first rainfall it was obvious that water was flooding from the gutter at the opposite end to the fall pipe. Once the rain had stopped, I got up my ladders and saw the end cap was missing from the gutter thus allowing water to pour down the side of the house. Nathan and his team had installed new dry verges. The end of the verge is fitted tight to the guttering. It should have been obvious to anyone completing that work that they had failed to replace the end cap on the gutter. I contacted Nathan in what had become the usual way  - text. He replied stating he was on holiday and provided me a date two week in the future for his return. Instead of giving me a date when he could complete the repair, he invited me to contact him on his return. I did contact him and his replies at first were taking days rather than the hours I had become used to. He did agree a date to repair the gutter but not a time. During the afternoon of that day, I sent another text to Nathan asking for an estimate of when he would be arriving. He replied stating between 5.30pm to 6pm. He didn't attend but around 8pm that day he contacted me by text stating he had been involved in a crash and stated 'vans pretty knackered'. There was no offer of when the repair to the guttering would be completed. Knowing he could attend in a car and didn't need any specialist tools, I offered to lend him the use of my ladder and asked if he could repair the gutter. That was two days ago and there has been no reply. All Nathans replies have been plausible but at the same time it is entirely possible that he is not intending to complete the work. At this stage and in the absence of any contact from Nathan, I will look to find someone else to repair his work - it simply isn't a good idea to leave the gutter unrepaired indefinitely as it could lead to additional water damage problems. If Nathan were to contact me and complete the repair before I find someone else to do it, I  expect that to be within the week, I  will amend this review accordingly. In the mean time, I now wonder if there are any other issues I should be concerned about and the validity of the ten year warranty I was assured covered his work. ----------------- Another day passed with no contact from Dudley & Son Roofing and so I took it upon myself to repair the guttering before there was another heavy rainfall. It turned out the end cap was still affixed to the gutter but was badly damaged - retained for inspection etc.. It could not be seen until the guttering was removed. This is because what was left of the end cap was covered by the dry verge system installed by Dudley & Son. They never used scaffolding and chose to get on the roof using just ladders. Having found the end cap like this, I checked the entire length of guttering and could see that all of it had been shunted along - the guttering had been in place for about twenty years and over this time dark marks had developed around the brackets. All the marks had moved along by the same amount. Taking in to account how Dudley & Son had completed the work, I guess the guttering had been moved by heel kicking the end cap or striking it with a hammer. However they did it, it's clear they knew they had caused the damage. Knowing they chose to leave it in this manner, I can't help wondering what else is wrong with the installation so I at least checked the corners. One is not fixed to anything. I guess a gust of wind would drag it off the roof and possibly the roof as well. To say the least, I'm really not happy.

Work completed: fixed hole in roof, general roof maintenance, guttering / soffits / facias. Best price of 3 quotes. They did a decent job and treated me and my house with respect. Will get them in again if I need any more word done.

Having been truly let down by a so called builder.Nathan and his gang of roofers saved the day! They have built me a flat roof with a glass atrium......They’ve worked hard rectifying and adjusting the poor workman ship that the previous roofer did (in all weathers!)I’m so pleased with the result from Nathan and his team... Once again thanks guys my dream extension is now coming together . I would definitely recommend Dudley & son knowing future customers will be very happy with the end result !
