Absolutely love this place. Fairly unique trail system for Colorado. Many trails through Scrub Oak that require tight turns and navigation over large root systems. These trails ride differently than those composed solely of rock. Great views of the mountain range as well. You'll find yourself wanting to stop and take it all in.

Great hiking on front side of Mt Herman. Maybe a trail up to top of Herman. Weather always runs me off before I can complete up-trail hike. Good quick hikes too avoid driving time to trails on Mt Herman road.

The trails were sweet! Will be back to visit from Denver. Got rained out while we were there.
