They don't deserve one star. It would take three paragraphs to list all the issues like stepping through the roof into kitchen, a gutter is not a gutter, scheduling appts and not showing up, no warranty when there was leak signs, etc. Try communicating with poor to no English. Hire a local contractor and pay a little more.

Contacted AMS 2 days after Irma! Signed contract for roof , partial carport and complete front porch and gave a hefty deposit! They did my roof and partial carport in November but........when called to see about the delay on my front porch, was told my contract must have been placed on the bottom of the pile of the new contracts!!! They never started my porch till March in which time they sent someone that did not follow State Code and then sent someone out to measure for my windows. Wrong size was ordered! Another 6 weeks till new one arrived! They had to redo the work that the first worker did so it was up to code so it would pass inspection, plus put the second order of windows and door in! Oh yes, they ordered the wrong door as well as windows!!!! I had the house rented for the winter and loss $500.00 a month due to the fact that I had no front porch for them to use!! AMS never did put the awnings on the house that I had ordered. When speaking to a representative, I was told they would only credit me $500.00 for their cost of the awnings that they did not place, not taking into consideration I was still paying for the installation of the awnings that had been a part of my contract. I had paid $3,000.00 the year before to have awnings placed!!! Sent them a copy of that bill from the year before and asked to have them call me to review the $500.00 they were willing to credit me! NO RESPONSE!!! Many of my neighbors had AMS do work for them as well and had the same experience with unsatisfactory work as well as time frame! In fact, one of my neighbors came back from the summer to find their ceiling collapsed due to a leak of the new roof that AMS had placed! Another neighbor who came back early from the summer had found his roof was leaking as well! I would NEVER recommend AMS to ANYONE!!! My family have had 5 homes in this area and have always used AMS, but....NEVER AGAIN! If I could give them a negative Star, I would!!

I paid them $4400 to reroof a mobile home I own and they forgot to drill the holes in the gutters where they put the downspouts so the water is just pooling in my gutters and flowing over the ends. They also forgot to put a piece of facia over my back door. I called them and told them about this 2 weeks ago and I still have not heard a peup out of them and they are located less than a mile from me. I guess their lifetime warranty is a scam judging by their followup with me. I am going to hire someone else to finish the job and then sue AMS in small claims court. A lot of the work they did on my roof looks like hell because by gutter spout is crooked and the downspouts are almost hitting the ground in some spots and the strip that secures the roof on the ends is all crooked. All in all the work is 3 stars at best. As a person who deals with home buyers and sellers on a regular basis I will be sure to never mention AMS to any client or friend of mine that needs roofing work done. The reroof was actually over the last roof they put on this mobile home. That roofing job ended up with all the screws popping loose and the roof leaks down the walls of the mobile home. The mobile home had to be gutted due to AMS roof failure. The man said they used longer screws this time on my new roof so that would not happen. I am not sure if that is even true. I should have never gone with this company to replace one of their old failed roofs. BIG MISTAKE.

I needed a repair on my roof because of the recent hurricane which damaged my roof partially. AMS came and provided a quote and was able to start working on it the next day. This company is fast, friendly and works quick and hard. I will use these guys again in the future for sure!
