I learned of American Roofing from a friend that heard that they did a good job. I usually would never hire anyone off such a vague reference but was able to get Brendan out for a estimate and asked him for some more references for roofs they have recently installed. He gave me a list of commercial properties but no residential. I asked for residential and he said they don't give out peoples phone numbers. I did not like this answer because most people don't mind telling you how they really liked their work. I checked the commercial properties and everyone was happy with their work. It was hard in 2018 to even get a roofer to come out and give you a bid to replace your roof due to the Hurricane that year. I live in St Pete and this was a rental property in Sebring area I had to get fixed. I told Brendan 2 months out that I only had the 10th thru the 15th of Dec to get this roof on and I needed to be present so we could change some piping and venting thru the roof and this all needed to be in the contract. EVERYTHING was spelled out very clearly in the contract and with my start date. The thing that I really liked was that they wanted NO deposit with the contract and they only needed a deposit on the day they showed up. I was very impressed that they showed up on time and had a large crew to get the job all done in 3 days. He informed me that they could have done it all in 2 days but had another commitment. They got the old roof off, cleaned it off, replaced any wood that looked or felt bad and also got my new vent and pipe vents cut in and roof all sealed up with peel n stick on day 1. The other thing that I really liked was that they where able to take a credit card for the deposit and for the final payment. They also tarped around the whole house to catch all the debris and made for an easy clean up of nails. Very impressed with everything they did and would recommend and use them again in the future. Their bid for the roof was VERY reasonable.

Great workers with lots of experience highly recommend. Only problem after job is completed do not follow up on issues.

Really great people doing great work. I would highly recommend these guys. They are honest and trustworthy. They actually care about their clients and I would suggest them for their integrity alone, however, they do great work as well.
