Didnt get a roof done but, did have an interaction with a crew! They were super friendly! And because of that if i ever need a roof done i will be contacting your company because of those 4 men!
On 10-25-2017 Justin at Ramcon gave me a quote to repair my roof for $7,790.00 which seemed high. On 11-13-2017 I obtained a second quote for the same repair for $1,950.00. When Justin called to follow up and pressure me to sign his contract, I asked to speak to his supervisor at which time Justin questioned me and gave me resistance. I explained to Justin that I wanted an explanation of why their quote was 400% higher than their competition. Justin told me he would let his supervisor know. On 11-17-2017 their vice president Kyle emailed me that he had “spoken with Justin regarding your concerns on pricing for the a R-Panel skylight replacement in Orlando. I’ve gone through his entire scope and breakdown. I’m available to answer any questions you may have to as the costs, labor associated, or any facet.“ Kyle left me his main line (not direct line or cell). I called three times, had to leave voice mails and followed up with three emails on the same dates (11-22-2017, 11-28-2017 and 12-27-2017), none of which were returned. My last communication to Kyle at Ramcon was “I have called, left several voice mails and returned emails. If you really wanted to explain this to me, you would have left me your cell number or returned some form of communication. At this point in time I am going to assume you are not interested in explaining why your team tried to charge me 400% more than your competitors. I will be sharing my experience with your company on social media.” It is now 1-16-2018 and I am posting this to warn others that these people will overcharge you by as much as 400% and then not have the decency to have a conversation to explain how they got there. Now I am debating if I have enough time to call the Better Business Bureau and make a complaint.
Good Company. I've worked for quite a few construction companies. Ramcon is a great company to work for. Good front office. Good employees. Good workmanship. If you know roofing or sheet metal they will keep you working. If you do looking for a new or refurbished roof this is a good place to start.
