I hired Reunited Home Improvements about 3-4 years ago to replace siding on my home and we were so impressed with the quality of work, the insulation they used, as well as the vinyl siding. It was a no brainer to request a quote from Artie along with two other companies to replace siding on the Parish house of St John’s episcopal church in Flushing on Sanford Ave. Artie and his team of ten guys started our project on Friday and finished on Sunday, Father was very happy with the quality of work in replacing windows and installation of new siding that we may use Artie for other Churches in our Diocese. Horrible service. My husband and I hired them to do a plumbing job in our basement. Mr. Belcastro was initially very responsive and professional. This all devolved into some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced once he had our deposit. His workers consistently failed to show up when promised...including simply being a no-show on two different days. Multiple phone calls, text messages, and emails went unanswered. The foreman that came to do the job ended up needing to use my husband's tools to complete the job - then insulted the brand of tools. He didn't even have shims needed for leveling and luckily we had some. Then he complained that they weren't his preferred length. He had lots of opinions for someone that consistently didn't have what he needed to do the job. I kept thanking my lucky stars that my husband had a few things around the house because otherwise I assume the job would've ground to a halt. At the end of the job, his foreman left without letting us know he was leaving and left behind mounds of trash - dirt, concrete, empty concrete mix bags, old work gloves, discarded coffee cups and water bottles, old pipes, etc. All of this was left on my floor despite the contract stating that they were supposed to remove all job related debris. And when I texted Mr. Belcastro and provided photos of the debris left behind, we were ignored (texts and phone calls) until I sent a very "firmly worded" text. Take my advice, steer clear.

We had a complete kitchen renovation and it is absolutely beautiful! We were happy about every aspect of the job - the price was reasonable, the workers were neat, hard-working and efficient, and the project was completed much earlier than anticipated - really, within three and a half weeks, a wall was torn down, and two rooms were reconfigured into one. Yes, the work was subcontracted out, but the people he used were consistently excellent. We have gotten many compliments on our gorgeous kitchen, and highly recommend this company! Artie is very quick to respond to your texts in the beginning but once he has the job that is no longer the case. He does both interior and exterior work. I first contacted him to do a bathroom/kitchen renovation in my home. Artie's price was far below all of my other bids. My husband and I were tempted to hire him but I preferred to first try him out on some smaller projects. I hired him to do some exterior work in my father's house and he was the least expensive and he did well with the siding and gutter work we gave him. Based on his exterior work alone, it would have been a 5; but, I gave him 3 stars because I wasn't happy with the second project I gave him to do. When it comes to interior work he hires unreliable people who do not show up or call you to tell you that they are not showing up. My husband spent 2 Saturdays waiting for his plumber and was stood up by his worker. Artie wasn't responding that quickly to my husband's calls either. By the third time this happened, we decided to go with someone else. In the end, we found him to be unreliable. It felt like we were chasing him to get our plumbing problem fixed. He should respond as quickly to his customers as he does to collecting his pay. He says all of his work is done by in house people but I suspect that isn't the case.As far as my renovation project goes, I prefer to go with someone who will cost me more but in the end is reliable.

Reunited installed my scallop siding in the front of my house in one day!!! They did an “AWESOME” job, and gave me a reasonable price. I’m very happy, and would highly recommended them.
