It's extremely hard to find contractors out there that are honest...but Gil is one of the good ones! He's someone that I will hire without hesitation in the future if the need comes up again. I have a newer home with an unfinished basement and ended up having a small mold problem from days worth of heavy rain and high humidity. I was worried when I saw the mold because of all the horror stories you hear with black mold and such. I called a few contractors out to get their opinion fearing that I had a major problem. First guy tried to take me for $1,500 to clean it up. He said he'd also 'throw in duct cleaning for free' and that I 'had to make a decision by the end of the night before my "deal" expires.' Gil arrived on time, was very friendly, took his time inspecting everything, and basically said to me that I didn't need to hire anyone, even him. He gave me tips on how to safely clean the concrete walls, how to better water proof the basement, and how to prevent it from happening again. I took his advice, cleaned up all the mold in a day by myself. Water sealed the edges of the floor, and bought a dehumidifier. Now it is the driest place in the house. Gil charged me $0. I recommend his company to anyone with mold issues...he will give you an honest opinion and estimate and will not use fear to fill his pockets. Gil is a great guy with integrity!
