My/our HOA IN DECATUR elected Ameristar for our roof replacement project last week. From the Chief Supervisor's (Brandon) preliminary meeting in which details of the 2 day project were explained, to the job done itself, I find Ameristar to be none less than a high 4++/5 Star rating. The professional quote and the details of the job were explained very well, and now, as the final product has been delivered and installed, I will definitely recommend this company for roofing needs. Attention to details (ESPECIALLY prep, clean-up, timely responses to inquiries/communication) are managed very efficiently. I was most impressed with the entire project's smooth operation; the supervisor/chief, Brandon is very professional and is able to run a very tight ship! USE THIS COMPANY!

I have done business with this company for two years and have the utmost respect for their professionalism, hospitality, and honesty. I think these three qualities go a long way in building long term clients and partners therefore I highly recommend them!

I use Ameristar Roofing and appreciate their honesty and hard work! They won’t tell you that your roof needs work if it doesn’t.

Please don't give LK's negative review of AmeriStar any weight. The company was out to fix an issue for one of her neighbors. She wasn't involved in the situation and the neighbors who had the repair done seemed to be pleased. LK is critical of all the vendors our community uses. She's not on the Board or involved in any bid or selection process. I'm sorry LK has taken it upon herself to review companies she hasn't personally hired. Additionally, Ameristar just completed 3 buildings for our community and the engineer who does our reserve study came by during the project. He was pleased with the materials used and the work being done.

Through our HOA'S "management company", we get bids from this 4 year old company. In my opinion, this company has too many 5 star reviews, since my comments are nearer the other 1 star review. Almost a week ago, 2 men showed up on the Smyrna property in an unmarked truck, 1 speaking no English. They proceeded to remove roof shingles to a small portion of the roof, but when I asked what the one guy was doing - he had an unsecured ladder leaning against shingled stair-well area, not safely stationed, tearing off shingles. I took photos, and went inside. Later I came out to find they'd left the property, and never returned. Approx. 2 days later, it began raining. Management company would only say, "they were there about a gutter issue"! Total baloney!!! The roof now has no shingles, still, and it's pouring rain again. Does Ameristar hire men with green cards? Doubtful, in my opinion, so why does any HOA BOARD agree to hire "any 4 year old company" connected to Associa, when a company in closer proximity to our Smyrna property offers a 10 year follow-up if any problems occur!? Again, in my opinion, there is a questionable issue between doing business with a new company offering no warranties, vs. one with a history, that does. Bell Roofing does - no relation!. My HOA board let's the management company do our bidding, in my opinion - literally & figuratively speaking! You be the judge. There should be a law.....but not in Georgia!
