Got a quote in September, never came out to repair anything and won't answer my calls. I was never rude or anything. I waited all winter. I'm now calling around again and finding out, I'm not the first to be quoted and then never see them again. This is bad business and word of mouth goes a long way. Shame on Knipp Roofing.

We signed a contract with this company for siding, gutters, soffit, Facia, & downspouts. The salesperson was great, personable, and honest. Our material arrived and we scheduled an install date that was over a month ago. On the date install was to happen there were 3 guys working diligently but they simply couldn’t finish the job in one day...which is normal. Here is where all the problems started. We have been given the run around. Time and time again, day after day we have been promised (by the Forman/owner named John) that a crew would be sent to complete the home. This has gone on for over 3 weeks. We spoke recently to the owner and she seemed concerned and said she would call back, however the day ended without a call back. When I tried to call back this evening, the Forman/owner (John) answered the phone. I was met with nothing but hostility, and again was given the run around. This time excuses included “we are short siding for that project”, to “I’m trying to make money from having a brutal winter”, to “my men are driving over an hour away and I wish we never took your project”. I hope to be able to change this post with something positive and am willing to provide an update as soon as the project is completed. 05/18/19 update: heading into the 4th week, no phone call, no appointment set, and because the wood remains open to the elements carpenter bees are tearing up the wood. 05/20/19 update: received call from John today. They had a large crew out today and about 90% is complete. They are (in-fact) short some siding. Was told they are getting it and hope to have it installed and complete by Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

Knipp installed soffit and fascia and a garage surround for me last month. Excellent job...great workmanship. They are big on customer satisfaction which is the reason I went with this company. I would highly recommend!

I called Knipp Roofing & Exteriors in November 2017 and inquired about replacing some siding on my home. Someone named John came out to look at my home and give an estimate. John (who later told me he was the owner) looked at my home and said he could not give me an estimate at that time. He took down my information and said he would get back to me with the exact quote. After a month passed and John never got back to me, I called Knipp Roofing & Exteriors and asked about my quote. The receptionist said he did not know about my quote and took down my information and said he'd call me back. He called me back shortly and said he found my paperwork and would call his dad to get the quote. He did not call back but instead emailed me a quote. I told the receptionist that I'd get back with them about setting up an appointment. After speaking with my wife about the overall experience and lack of customer service, we decided to look at another company. A month later as I'm on a temporary military assignment I received a call from the owner John Haggerty. He said he was outside of my home and was ready to do work. I told him I was on assignment and I never gave them permission to do the job. I was busy doing a military exercise and told him I'd talk to him when I got back in town. Weeks later as I'm still on temporary assignment John Haggerty called me again. He said it's a couple of degrees above freezing and it was perfect timing to replace the siding. Again, I told John I was on assignment. Furthermore, I told him I did not ask or schedule a job with Knipp Roofing & Exteriors. He got angry and told me he'd already ordered the siding. Furthermore he said I was cheap to only have 10 pieces of siding replaced. John told me his company usually don't take on small jobs like mines and he was doing me a favor. Since I was busy at work I told him I'd give him a call back. I called him back later that day and told him I would never do business with his company. I explained in detail my reasoning which included his rudeness at the top of my list. He blamed his son and wife for not getting back to me initially with a quote. John said they were a small mom & pop shop so I should expect delayed responses as part of the business. This was the worst customer service experience in the 20+ years of being in the military. Knipp Roofing & Exteriors gets an F.
