My wife and I are very pleased with Accredited Roofing. They promptly responded and repaired our roof in less than a week from the time we made initial contact. Steve (the owner) personally inspected our roof, gave us a thorough report and answered all our questions. Chris (the roofer repairer) reaffirmed everything Steve told us. Both gentlemen were very professional and very friendly. We would definitely recommend them! Prices may be slightly higher than others but in our opinion well worth it.

The owner Steve was very professional and quick to respond to any questions we had. His inspection was thorough and he provided video and pictures to explain his report. The roof was replaced within a couple of days and looks great.

THE WORK LOOKED GOOD... AT FIRST. All of the work is done and seems to be done well. The one area I think could use some improvement is communication. That being said I truly think that with all of the damage in the area they just had so many jobs going on that it made it difficult to communicate effectively between Steve, the team, and the homeowners. Any other minor issues we had were addressed promptly. Steve was friendly and one of his workers, phil, was wonderful to work with. Phil went out of his way to make sure we were happy and was always open to texts or phone calls if needed. If we use kangaroof again, (hopefully we won't have to for awhile) we will specifically be requesting that Phil is on the job. After I left a 4 star review I was text by Steve saying that I should remember they “gave us” some siding for free so they deserved a 5 star review.” Which I changed to make them happy and because I thought at the time that our work was done properly. **we recently have seen some issues with the siding and gutters and have emailed the owner (Steve). We are waiting on a response and I intend to update soon.** UPDATE: The response we got was a visit and “I’ll fix it if you’ll let me” but never an effort to schedule a time to do so or to come thoroughly check out his work. He flat out said I’ll make repairs but “you’re not getting all new roof and siding.” Which his insurance later deemed was necessary. I then learned that their license was on probation with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Getting the repairs done didn’t go as I would have hoped With Accredited roofing. We ended up having to go through their insurance and file a claim and had a different contractor redo the entire job. When they pulled off the siding the moisture barrier had large spaces that weren’t covered and they used scraps that didn’t overlap even remotely. The roof didn’t have ice and water shield at all which is required by code and there was new water damage on a corner of the home from the roof being laid incorrectly. The gutters were done so poorly that there was an inch and half of standing water and when it rained it would pour from the joint and corner of the gutters. the j channel and many other pieces were cut short which was made evident once the weather began to change. Thankfully another company solved all of our issues with a complete redo and the difference in work is amazing.
