We call the company after a reference was given to us by a friend. Stay Dry gave us an estimate after coming out and measuring the house. We accepted the estimate. They gave us a day that they would be here, we were at work which was fine with us. We came home from work and our 1st thought was they did not show up, everything was so clean and looked just like we had left it. We looked up we had brand new gutters. We have had significant rain since then, and everything is going well. We have paid our bill. This is how we would like all things taken care of, give me an estimate, do the job right, let me pay you, and all is done.
Great service! When I first reached out they were there the same day (within the hour actually). Kevin examined the roof and let us know there was not a need to replace the whole thing, just needed a couple of spot repairs. Once I signed the paperwork, there was a roofer out the next day to make the needed repairs. Very prompt and professional!
GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND! If they’re doing insurance work for you, I would strongly advise that you demand a written estimate before they begin the job. I was very clear with their Rep that I had quotes from two other roofing companies that were close in price (1) for $ 5,200 and a 2nd for $5,300. I asked several times for an estimate of what they would be charging, the only response he ever offered was, “you’ll never pay more than your deductible”. After the job was completed, with a delay of over 1 month. I received an invoice for $6,700.00, essentially bilking my insurance company for the job and seeking my $1,000 deductible on top. Then to add insult to injury, my insurance company sent me a notice that my roof coverage for my primary residence had been reduced to only 40% of the replacement cost! The roof they are referring to is only 3 years old! They overcharged so much that my Coverage has been impacted on a separate property. After several attempts to work this out with The Rep and Karyn Tudor (Accounts Receivable) I have no other recourse than to warn everyone I come across about this company and their unethical behavior.
They do great business!! It made me very happy!
Tom Moore and the entire team at Stay Dry Roofing made replacing my hail damaged roof very simple. They handled all the communication with my insurance company and the process went very smoothly. They replaced the entire roof in one day and did a great job cleaning up when they were done including using a large magnet all around my yard to make sure all the nail were removed. I would highly recommend them to anyone need roof or gutter work done.
