Terrible experience all the way around, I hardly even have the energy to try to accumulate what a mess my experience has been. I am going to do my absolute best to try. I am going to quickly list why to run for the HILLS! Then I will explain the entire situation, so you have back story on why to run. If you don’t want your blood pressure to go up or waste to much time out of your day, I will just quickly list the key points. 1. They will order things without asking if that’s what you want. We have a green roof and green drip edge they ordered green roof brown drip edge. 2. They will sprinkle litter around like bird seed. 3. They will leave nails EVERYWHERE and they didn’t even replace our roof... literally EVERYWHERE. 4. If they do tarp they won’t do it properly the first time and it will rain in your house for weeks on your belongings and hardwoods. 5. They tried to put a new roof on rotted rafters... that would have not only not have been up to code, but was extensively discussed and I was told they were going to fix them (though it would have been an out of pocket expense) 6. They will drive in your grass and leave massive ruts. 7. They will leave cigarette butts everywhere. 8. Oh and they staked about 6,000 pounds of shingles in one spot THE WEAK SPOT on my home... not only could this probably have caused damage, it could have fallen through and killed anyone under it.

Work started in August of 2018 to remove skylight and patch over with shingles. First attempt left the patch sunk in on the roof, not level with the rest of the roof. Poor communication after multiple attempts to have this fixed. Finally in April of 2019 they were able to correct the problem. Patch is at least level with the rest of the roof, but there was a gap between two pieces of decking used of about 1/2 an inch. Not sure that's a major issue, but for a company that supposedly prides itself on top notch work, I'm not seeing it. I can't recommend them due to quality issues as well as price. It's one thing to pay a little extra with the assumption of detailed work, but otherwise I think you can find roofing companies that are just as good if not better for less.

Alpha put a roof on my house 3 years ago, recently we had a windstorm that took a tree out onto my house, the Insurance company sent an adjuster out to look at the roof, even though the tree didn't contact it. As the adjuster came down of fhis ladder, he said " That's the best roof installation that I've seen in my 20+ years of doing this!" Thanks, Alpha.

Alpha Roofing was prompt, professional, thorough, and also the most affordable! I called 5 different roofing companies in Lawrence for quotes. Alpha had a quote for me within 24 hours (next best was 3 days later!) and beat the 2nd best price by $500! They were also able to get my job done within the week! As a Realtor in the area, I deal with a ton of various contractors. Alpha was the best from beginning to end. Their customer service when I initially called was excellent. The quote was done by Matt Larken, who followed up with a prompt call. He also made sure we got the color we wanted, and called me the day of with recommendations on what to do with an old satellite dish that was bolted into the roof he was replacing. He called when the job was completed, as well. I thought that was a nice touch. I couldn't say nicer things about Alpha Roofing! Thank you for making the process so painless for me, Matt!
