Ryan Cartwright was polite and well versed on the products. He explained every detail clearly. The job was completed and the cleanup was great. I would recommend this company.

The roof is great and was installed quickly. However, scheduling the install along with being informed prior to work being done could use some work. I received zero notice before they begun and only received a call when they were halfway done. They are great about working with my insurance company also.

As a result of the inspection report during the purchase of my home, the former owner replaced the roof using Desert Roofing, now Roofing 101. They sub-contracted the job, and the sub-contractors did a very poor job replacing the roof. The day I moved into the house, it was raining and water rained in staining the hallway walls. I called Desert Roofing, and they immediately had the hallway re-painted, but the roof was not fixed properly. I called again, and a fellow finally came out about nine months after repeated calls. He was very customer friendly and confessed that my roof had been done poorly by a sub-contracting group no longer affiliated with the company. He said he would get on the roof and fix what needed to be fixed in a few minutes. I wasn't sure how he could quickly fix a poor sub-contracting job in a few minutes so I obtained a roof evaluation from another local roofing company who voiced concerns about the roof. So I called Desert Roofing yet again, and a Robbie McDaniels came out who basically blew me off, stating the roof was put on according to work order and invalidating the evaluation from the local roofing company. Obviously, Desert Roofing did not oversee the sub-contractors well or inform the original owner of roofing concerns while doing the job. Since this conversation, it appears Desert Roofing has made some staffing changes and changed their name. I would not recommend Desert Roofing, now Roofing 101 as they have admitted that their sub-contract group did a poor job re-roofing my home, yet have not honored the warranty and re-roofing the house as it should be done.

These people had a really good sales pitch when Vince laid out the course of action they utilize on all their roofing jobs. I experienced essentially nothing but problems. They parked a trailer in the middle of my driveway when I wasn't even there, and they weren't even going to use it right then, but needed somewhere to park it. It took about 6 hours to get them to come move it. How could anyone justify doing that to a customer. That was a mild beginning compared to what was coming. The day they completed their work I arrived after work to find some unbelievable methods of completing my roof, on the house and shed. If I have a way to post pictures to accompany this review I will do so, as the Public really needs to see some of their finished jobs. The drip edge on the shed isn't even nailed to the facia plate, leaving the wood underneath exposed to the elements. Shingles were not lined up at the apex because they didn't start off square at the bottom . I asked them if they had ever heard of a chalk line, and the reply (I believe it was from Robbie, but it may have been Colby) was they use chalk lines. "Must be a crocked string in your chalk line" was my reply. They dropped something, probably a nail gun, on one of the gutters on the shed, leaving a very unpleasant end on that side of my shed. They left trash in my yard, and bushes, and I have rain running off my gutters, as they weren't fastened properly. Overall I have to grade their work as the worst I've ever seen. If I would have been home I would have ran them off my property. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, and I'd be more than happy have people see the job I was left with.
