Great company. They were very responsive and easy to work with. Replaced one of my roofs after the recent storm. Scott and his team also took the time to work with my insurance company. They were very helpful with processing the claim

Very disappointed! Originally, I was very optimistic. They did a great job for a neighbor who recommended them. So, I was very much looking forward to working with them. This was an insurance claim on my siding. Ricky, their Business Development Manager, told me his plan of action. He would send a piece of my siding to a company in Florida to validate or see if they could match the color. If they couldn't match the color, he would submit a estimate to my insurance company to replace all my siding. Sounded good I only met with him once. That was in the later part of 2018. It's now late May, 2019. He did not call me once to give me a status update. I had to call him. On two occasions he told me he had to check and would get back with the next day. For some reason, I believed him... I like him. He never called back! I called him again 2-3 days ago. It's not that he ignores my calls. He knows its me calling. He's very polite. He told me he would check into the status of my case and get back to me tomorrow. I told him he's told me that before and never got back to me. He said he knew. No apologies, but still polite. Again, no call from Ricky. This is horrible customer service and reflects negatively on the management of the entire company. I think I need to at least talk to my attorney to protect myself. I have a very strict Homeowner's Association that can sue me for having an extended hole in my siding or better yet for having a repair that is not consistent color with my existing siding.

I agree with the one review . . . bait and switch. We recently used them when a tree fell through our roof from a severe storm. The agent that was sent to review the claim told us that we would not pay anything out of pocket other than what the insurance company gave us. We had to fight them for months. They eventually adjusted the bill, but we still have to pay more than was quoted, because there are hidden items in the contract that they breeze through. In addition, they didn't remove a huge stump, because apparently, it's not part of tree removal. DUH! Not happy. Would not use them again. Too much of a hassle.

I cannot say enough about how pleasant an experience I had with American Home Specialists. We had Terry as our main point of contact, but anyone we came into contact with at the company cared about providing the best service possible. Phone calls and texts were returned very quickly. I never felt out of the loop or in the dark about when workers were coming on site or what project they were working on that day. I had significant hail damage that Terry helped me assess to my roof, gutters, downspouts, window unit AC, and shingles. Terry helped me file the claim with my insurance and really made the entire process so easy. He took ownership of my project as if it were his own house. If you need help with your house, do yourself and call AHS. I was DREADING this whole process and Terry and his crew couldn’t have made it any easier or better. A++++++
