Michigan's Handyman workers are simply the best!!! I have had them to my house several times in the past year or so, mostly for repairing fallen gutters (due to storms, etc) and they are FAST, EFFICIENT, ON TIME, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, REASONABLE PRICE-WISE and EASY TO WORK WITH. The work they have done for me is perfectly done & I couldn't be happier. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys for anything you might need! FIVE STARS!!! *****
I was extremely pleased-Jim answered all of my questions, provided a very fair cost estimate and even completed the work sooner than expected. Our front steps look great and I will use Michigan's Handyman services for future jobs.
Good service and gutter cleaning correctly done coupled with hauling away of debris removal. Definitely using again.
I've used Michigan's Handyman 5 times now for various home improvements and a bathroom renovation and every time they produce great results. They have transparent pricing and theylth come give a free quote for any work. Also they have quickly responded to every inquiry I've had. I cannot recommend them enough, especially having run the gamut of terrible contractors, it's nice to have a company that I can trust when it comes anything home related.
The company foreman, Dennis Sadecki, installed a kitchen backsplash for us. I made a major mistake in trusting they knew what they were doing and did not do a proper inspection before writing a check. The tile was chewed up, broken, and uneven (see photos attached). There was no space between the mosaic tile sheets; they were stacked directly on top of each other. There were other issues more minor; we requested the job be redone. I asked the owner Robert Gilbert to come to our home twice, both times he refuse and threatened to take us to court if we did not accept taking a couple hundred off the bill. Robert also stated “it’s not like their not going to let us get paid.” The job was horrible and needed to be redone and has already been tore out. When we went to court both the magistrate and judge commented on how bad the job was but awarded them payment because I did not do an inspection before writing a check. If you see a contractor doing something that does not look right to you stop them, do not let them finish or you will be stuck with paying for terrible work. Request the names of the people doing work on your home and do an internet search of their names to make sure they are reputable and do not have a criminal history you may be uncomfortable with. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! The owners go to response to unhappy customers is “I’m sorry you feel you and a bad experience…” He does not!
