John Burlett wrote a quote to remove my family room cement bring in gravel level and pour new cement on 3/26/16. I gave him a deposit of $5500.00. After six months of phone calls to find out when he was coming to start the job he finally told me he couldn't find anyone to do the job. I received a refund check for my deposit. The check was no good. He was arrested for writing a bad check and finally on 5/4/17 the court system made him refund my money. He had done some smaller jobs for me before that and did a good job. However, I would not recommend his services after this nightmare.

John built a three-seasons porch and a patio for us. While the quality of work was decent, the overall hassle in trying to get John to finish the job was a huge problem. John started the job in September, 2012 and finished 95% by November, 2012. However once I had paid John most of the money, it took 10 additional months, 117 phone calls, and 6 inspector visits to finally get the project approved on August 20, 2013. John's work is nothing special and there are plenty of other contractors that will give you much less hassle in finishing the job. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
