Doesn’t return phone calls and when you get someone on the line, the response is “We are only doing work in Southport” post- Hurricane Florence. Such a shame because you installed the roof in River Lights. Can’t believe you wouldn’t come back. Has NOTHING to do with crews not being there yet. We are fine with waiting until Wilmington crews are back and until it stops raining. We understand that safety come first... HOWEVER should say that up front and not after you’ve been called out on Google Reviews. You’re changing your tune real fast.

We closed on our brand new H&H house in June with the roofing done by Contract Exteriors....so much for shingles being rated for 130mph...Florence never came close to that! Makes one wonder! Very poor customer service! Was told only doing repairs in Southport and NEW construction in Wilmington! So much for standing behind their work! RESPONSE to OWNER: Too bad what you wrote is not what your representative said on the phone! Would have understood if that was the situation but she was adamant that there would be NO repair work in Wilmington per her Boss!

I'm pretty pleased with Contract Exteriors and the work performed on my house, huge new doors leading out of from our bedroom to the upper porch, new covering on the porch itself, and some roof work......but, when I contacted Contract Exteriors on the 27th of April due to rain coming into our bedroom from underneath the doors, carpet wet, etc.....and to this day, no return call.....very displeased with the "so called warranty". I really could care less how busy you are, a return call is simple. Update: Thanks Shannon for the call, it may have been I was on a flight and did not receive the call, appreciate the follow-up and we'll see you Wednesday. St. James/Southport, NC Well...the saga continues, Contract Exteriors is not stepping up to the work....blame it on the company doors you installed poorly. The storm has ruined my place due to the poor quality of the installation and the doors. No follow-up activity after 7 plus months of problems.....trust me, more to follow.

We want to personally thank each and every one of the skilled craftsmen who solved our roofing issues. As we sat the past few days with the rain pouring down and our house remaining dry inside, we sang your praises! Our roofing issues have been a two-year ordeal and Contract Exteriors was the solution. In particular, we wish to commend Michael Goodwin and his crew for finding and resolving our first major issue. He and his crew came a few months later when we had an additional problem. To be specific, we woke up to water pouring into our house. With just one call to Contract Exteriors, they pulled our file and called to say they were on the way but were confident it was not related to the prior repair. With thunder and lightning and an extremely heavy tropical rain they went onto our roof and secured a tarp around the chimney. This immediately stopped the water from entering the house. There was no charge for this amazing customer service and all they asked was for us to contact them later and they would come and retrieve their tarp – after we secured a stucco contractor to repair the chimney. We gave this situation a great deal of thought and since the chimney was false, we decided to arrange for the Contract Exteriors team to come and remove the chimney and close up the roof. We could not be any happier with the results! The shingles are a perfect match and the ridge vent as well – a truly professional job by very skilled craftsmen. We would also like to thank John Goodart – he coordinated and scheduled all the repairs, kept us informed each step of the way and personally came to the house to collect the signed contract. Frequently he called well after business hours and on the weekend as well. We always knew the status of the project. In addition, he provided us with the contact information for an unrelated stucco repair and also the painter/contractor to repair the damage to the inside of our home. To sum it up, John and Michael both made what could have been a very confusing and stressful experience quite flawless and we are most grateful. We have highly recommended Contract Exteriors to neighbors who are facing a similar situation and we simply say – “do not call anyone else”! Most sincerely, Martha & Doug Shearer October 2015
