Hired them in August 2017 to reside my home. They was supposed to start in sept but didnt start until weeks later then half way through the job they ran out of material and had to order more. In the mean time I had water coming in house through a corner of a window beacause they stripped the outside flashing around it and it took a few weeks for the new order to come in. So I had to repair sheet rock and repaint a small section. it is now June 2018 and they still have not completed work that is clearly in contract. Almost a year!!!! I tried multiple times to contact them and set up dates to finish. I sent photos with no resolve. I am at a loss. I have started filing for small claims court. $24,000 to reside house and its incomplete I delayed my review long enough giving them ample time to come out and fix these issue. I am currently getting estimates from other siding companies to come and fix issues. 2 Corners were done incomplete. Wires for security cameras were never run back. A lights were broken which they said they would pay to replace but it was inexpensive so I did it myself and told them not to worry about it. I have 4 corbels on roof line that were supposed to be scrapped and painted which was never done. Duct work for slim A\c units was done improperly trim around entrance door does not match its off white and white. I wish I could post pictures to show you how disappointing the job came out.
Horrible experience! They do not honor their work. They did a faulty installation at my home and refused to address it! Shoddy workmanship and poor customer service!
Worst experience ever. I waited over 1.5 years to post this review because I gave them $2,100 for a down payment to replace my windows and never got them replaced and I wanted to make sure I got my refund first. The owner Alex Brody was extremely hard to get and lied over and over on the progress of replacing them. Eventually I stopped getting my phone calls and emails returned despite having a signed contract that they breached. I had to escalate the case to the NJ Department of Consumer Affairs who had to go after the company on my behalf to get my $2,100 back. I never got a dime back from the company directly, the Department of Consumer Affairs chased the company and wrote me a check after they paid the agency.
I had a wonderful experience getting my windows replaced with King Remodeling. I had a particularly challenging job, as I live in a historic district, and Alex was patient and helpful throughout all the ups and downs of the approval process. Throughout everything, they kept me looped in, and ultimately delivered three beautiful new windows - I was even able to have the inside painted white, while the outside is the historically-required brown. I highly recommend them for any window needs!
We used King Remodeling years ago for new windows and doors. Work and employees were great. So we decided to roof and side our home and used them again. We needed new gutters, new sliding door, etc. The works. Random people would show up to do different aspects of the job, roofers were on my roof after 9 pm in the dark with no lights. Siding people destroyed all the electrical outlets when they starting striping the house. Had to have an electrician come to redo all outlets. Of course they paid for that. However, after job was done, there have been remaining issues. I have called Alex since March, 2018 to come and re-trim 2 peaks on my home and re-tack up two pieces of siding in the back yard that are lifting. I kept leaving messages after messages and finally he called me and said he would come the following day to look at everything himself that needed repair but never came. After that, could not get him to answer the phone at all. Now winter is coming and nothing was done. I am so disgusted. I was very patient and nice to them for months but now, I'm really angry that we can spend so much money and they won't even return calls or come to home to see what needs to be done. Very dissatisfied and would never recommend them.
