John was the ultimate professional helping us with wall probes and material sampling for a construction issue. His work helped us understand out construction deficiency and address it with the contractor. I would recommend John and his team to anyone looking to investigate existing building assemblies.

John took time out of his day to review photos of my roof and determined a likely source of the leak without us having an infrared scan done. This saved us significant money and is reassuraning to know that there are still businesses out there that promote honesty and integrity. Give Infared Thermal a call. You will be in good hands.

I spoke to John Gutierrez for close to 1 hour yesterday. I live in MD, and his company (Infrared Thermal Imaging Services) is based in NJ. I called his company to look into leak detection services for my basement, as his website says that they have contractors in MD. My basement floor, which has radiant heat, has been leaking for around 1 week. I'm interested in non-invasive leak detection before ripping up my basement floor because this has significant consequences for what needs to be repaired and what my homeowner's and/or home warranty would cover. It's extremely costly (and involved, given the radiant heat pipes) to start ripping up the concrete floor in my basement and "look" for the source of the leak, as it isn't necessarily where the water is coming up (which is a crack, and likely the path of least resistance for the water). John talked me through how to determine if it's my radiant heat versus a domestic water line, which also educated me about both in the process. This took over 30 minutes of his time, after which he told me to call him back to share what I'd found. When I called him back to tell him I'd discovered it was the radiant heat pipes that were leaking, he then looked into potential contractors for me. He called me back quickly, and shared that he wasn't able to find anyone near my house. He then instructed me on how a plumber could help pinpoint the leak in a low-cost way, even offering to talk to the plumber himself -- and this is all after he realized he wasn't going to get any business from my call! I was really blown away by the time John spent on the phone with me, as well as his knowledge, helpfulness, and patience. He likely saved me thousands of dollars, and all because he was simply being nice and took the time to help me, even when it wasn't going to benefit his bottom line directly. I only wish his company serviced my location so that I could hire him directly! I couldn't recommend John more highly!!

Great service! Great guy! John came to inspect our roof he did a thorough inspection and documented every little detail with video, pictures and readings. His report was well documented and he provided solutions to better maintain the roof and have no issue for the future.
