Good solid work. Very reliable and reasonable.
On May 10th 2019 my wife and I had them come over to give us a estimate for repairing or replaceing our roof. One guy did come out and look at it but he said that he needed to get the roofing manager out to look at it, he said that the manager would give us a call a be out to look at the roof that day. We didn't get a call and no one showed up. Same thing Monday. I called today may 14th talked to them to out what was going on. They said that they would call me back later. It is now 6:20pm no call. We are going to get estimate's from someone else. We have chosen not to use them.
UPDATE to comments below: Was promised by owner AGAIN that the gutter person would contact me that aft or the next day “when he sees him”. Wouldn’t the owner CALL the person himself? No. Waited 4 days....still no call or message. I called this person myself and left a message. Still no response. Very difficult company to deal with. We had gutters installed well over a year ago, and when it rains water streams out from the underside in large areas of the gutter span, both front and back. I have called many, many times and finally was promised someone would come out. He never showed up. I called, with no apology for the Day I waited for him. Promised he’d be out on the following Tuesday..no show again. I called him myself, and he said he had come THE DAY BEFORE. again, no call to tell me, no apology. He was extremely rude. Instead he blamed my gutter cleaning company, whom I have every spring and fall. We removed the small amount of leaves from the 2 months since the cleaning, ran water on the roof and still the same problem. They blame everyone else, instead of finding out what’s wrong. I paid them to replace the fascia boards where needed, and fear the water is running between the boards and gutter and will rot the new fascia boards. This has been an ongoing nightmare with this company. When even the owner is in no hurry to remedy the situation, there is a big problem!
I made an initial appointment for gutter cleaning/roof inspection on a Saturday morning between 8-8:30am, and I was told the workers would give a "we're on our way" phone call prior to then. At 9:30am I had not heard from the company nor seen anyone. When I called the office the receptionist had told me that the truck had left so they "should be there soon." I asked if she could check in with the truck and she replied that she would and she'd call me back with an update. I never heard back from the receptionist or the work crew and at 11:30am I left the house for the day. I never received a phone call or notice for the remainder of the day. The following business day (Monday 10:15AM) I called and asked to speak with a manager/supervisor to relay the weekend events. I spoke with Marc who said he would address my concerns. I explained the aforementioned and Marc said he would look into it and get back to me within the hour. At 4pm I still had not heard from Marc or anyone from the company. I will not be contacting Dan Fulmer construction again. I will not recommend their business to anyone. The situation is entirely unacceptable and disappointing.
We had Dan Fulmer Construction replace our gutters in late April 2018. The experience was nothing less than flawless! They arrived early to every appointment we had (from planning, to signing contract, to actual construction work), with courtesy phone calls to confirm it was OK. Paul was friendly and knowledgeable, and the actual gutters they were able to install for us were top notch. The workers that day were in and out in a matter of a couple of hours. We will definitely consider Dan Fulmer Construction in the future!
