From the start everything went well. Erik Lewis was great for recommending me and Bob was a nice enough salesman. As soon as I signed on the dotted line is when it began to go down hill. I never again heard from Bob and I was passed onto Blake the project manager and Tiana the finance specialist. Both did a great job. Panels were installed quickly and efficiently. This is where is started to go down hill. From day one I had a panel out. The lead installer said it was bad wiring on the roof. Blake said it was a panel. Then I was told it was an update to solar edge. Blake had mentioned the loans had to be adjusted to cover the final cost, I was fine with this. Now Blake leaves and I’m passed onto Peter. Peter did not return emails or calls in a timely fashion. National Grid came and swapped my meter, a week or so goes by and no one has come out to turn my panels on. I ask Peter when someone would be there, no response. Then I get my final paper work to sign so Apex can be paid, I refuse to sign until someone comes and turns on my unit. Still no one is sent, instead I get an email showing me pictures of how to turn my unit on. No problem I can handle this, my question if this is so easy why was I not advised of this a week prior? So we lose a week of production, we can deal. A couple weeks go by and I get a call from Peter making me aware I still have a panel out. He assured me I’d hear from the service department to have this panel replaced or repaired. Here we are a week later and I still have not received any call or email and I have reached out to Peter three times. I can only assume they are not calling because the turn over caused them to not adjust the loans properly and they were shorted by the bank for the total payment. This company does good work but be sure your loans are prepared right, and hopefully you only deal with one person and do not get tossed around like we were. We have already lost 51KWH in production for the panel that is down, and who knows how much we lost in the week I waited for email instructions on how to turn my panels on.

The crew from Apex roofing arrived at 7:30 AM and began removing the old shingles and than placing the new shingles. The job moved very quickly and it was completed, including cleanup by 4:00 PM. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Apex Roofing to anyone.

Great company to deal with, not a customer but had a business transaction for a used piece of equipment that went very well. Excellent communication and polite friendly folks to deal with.

Our experience with Apex has been generally positive. The entire process from design through final activation is a pretty long one, though that is probably the case with any solar installer. We have a fairly large photovoltaic system on the roof of our home, shed, and garage, and a solar thermal free standing unit in the backyard. We have been generally happy with the quality of both systems. There have been fairly frequent problems with some of the panels not producing or losing contact with the inverter. Our solar thermal system recently had a corroded pipe on the water tank that took it out of commission for a while. Apex has always fixed any problems we had without charge or hassle, though it sometimes takes several phone calls and a longer than ideal wait time to actually get service. It does happen eventually and seems to be done well, though! It can be frustrating to know that we are missing out on power (and thus money) while we are waiting on service, however. Ultimately I would say Apex does good work but their communication (including internally between departments) needs some work, and lag time for service is a little frustrating.

Our Solar Panels were installed in 1 day, quick and trouble free. The salesman, sight manager and installers were very professional and great to work with. They answered all our questions promptly and thoroughly. We can monitor our solar production on our computer or I phone. The panels look great on our roof. We are very happy we went with Apex for our solar needs.
