Don't know which location Salazar Roofing employee works, Norman or Yukon, but it doesn't matter. Brian C****** came out first week of Apr to look at a damaged area of my roof that I wanted to get an estimate to repair. Brian C****** stated he would get with his carpenter, get an estimate and call me. Never heard a word. Called him AGAIN on Apr 9th and again, he said the same thing. As of April 19th...crickets. Can't comment on the quality of their work, but if it's anything like their lack of business courtesy/inconsiderateness to potential customers, I'd be wary. One "might" conclude both Brian C****** & Salazar Roofing thought that since this isn't a "large/$$$-making" job (on a small/modest home) and that the customer is a woman & senior citizen, it/she doesn't matter...which in turn, "might" be construed as class, gender & age discrimination. If they don't think a job is cost/manpower effective, at least have the honesty & respect of a potential (or not) customer to state as much.
I've used them twice now and both times they've fallen way short of acceptable. The first time they rescheduled with me multiple times before finally showing up. They promised the repairs would be fixed the next day but, again, didn't show up. Weeks later, they appeared, without notice, and repaired it. After paying for services, I received a call explaining they lost my check and I had to send another one, SMH. I gave them another opportunity to come out and look at another property of mine that had a major leak. After rescheduling 3 appointments with nobody ever showing up, my opinion of this company is less that acceptable. I will never use them again and would suggest them to an enemy!
Hired a contractor through Salazar to change a 32" door to a 36" door and put roof over the cement porch. Was supposed to match front porch. The porch post was nothing like the front one, said he couldn't find one to match but brother went online and found one exactly like it in less than 15 minutes. Put in door made for 2 x 4 walls which should have been for a 2 x 6 wall so it didn't fit without modifications. The door frame was very scraped up and they refused to do anything about it. Trim on roof part didn't match other porch and some of trim across top do not meet together. They put up an old piece of wood around the inside of the door that was black. It was supposed to be a piece of wood to look for a matching piece. Unable to clean wood, tried everything. The local Lowes carries the door frame to match. The boss of the group was rarely there and didn't even come by when called. I can't say anything about the roofing that Salazar does but I sure wouldn't recommend their other construction jobs. Now I have to complete their job. I let the contractor know what I thought and he did cut $200.00 off of the cost of $5200. I do have pictures of everything.
