Robert Butler of Roof Crafters out of Forest Grove Or was highly recommended by our neighbor so we called him for an estimate. He came out and explained how they work and what they could do, the estimate was middle of the road and and expecting a higher quality of workmanship we agreed to have him do the roof on our house and detached garage. It was a fairly long wait (several months) before he could start. Once started the job was completed in less than a week, they did a through clean up at the end of every day, were very professional, explained every thing that was going on as they went. For very little extra they extended the eves of our garage, replaced any damage and came in under what I though the final bill would be. This crew is definitely crafts men that we seldom see today, all hand nailed with attention to detail. I now understand why they are in high demand and have long wait times. Sometimes getting the best takes a little longer. If you are impatient and think the world revolves only around you, don't call them, you will be disappointed. If you want quality and old school craftsmanship, don't wait to get on their waiting list. I love our beautiful new roof.

Last July and August I had several estimates from different Roofing Company's . On August 10th, Robert Butler from Roof Crafters came out to do the estimate. When Robert was done, he told me that they are booked up until the middle to the end of November. I took the estimate from Roof Crafters and Robert told me that I was number 15 on the list. On November 13th, I contacted Robert to see where I was at on the list. Robert told me that I was 3rd on the list. On December 7th, I contacted Robert to see where I was on the list and he told me I was number 3 again. Robert told me he would call me in a couple of days to let me know about doing my roof. On December 13th, I called Robert to see what was going about my roof. Robert told me that he had been doing small jobs ahead of mine. I told Robert to cancel my order and that I will have another company do it. Robert told me that he understood. I contacted Orion Roofing Company and they came out gave me an estimate and now my roof is done. I would not recommend Roof Crafters to anyone. I don't believe that Roof Crafters is an honest Company.
