Had a guy from JC Roofing out to bid a chimney at a property. He gave me two options to give my client to repair the chimney or remove it. My client chose to repair the chimney. When I called to let him know about the repair he started to stutter and said "well I need 1/3 down and then the rest of the payment when it's complete." I told him that was fine. He said he would call me the next week to schedule. He never called. I called him and his secretary's 5 times over the following week to get this scheduled. Finally I decided to get another contractor out to do the repair. They said there was NO WAY the repair option he gave me would ever work. They said if they repaired it the way he said the entire thing would cave in and they wouldn't do it due to liability. Now I have to go back to my client and tell them that what JC Roofing told me was not true and look foolish because I relied on them to do something they knew they couldn't do. Bottom line- if you're a contractor and you are providing a bid to do work for someone, don't give them options when you know it can't be repaired.

They just did some repair work on my roof and chimney. Reasonably priced. They seem to really pay attention to details! I would recommend them to anyone.

Great company to work with. I was selling my house and the inspection came back that I needed the flashing around my chimney replaced. I didn't have much time until the house closing, so I called around to a few Greensburg roofing companies. JC said they could be there the following morning and complete the job that day. They did an excellent job and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend.
