Tom, the sales rep, was highly knowledgeable and very professional about the job. He answered all the questions that we had and was very engaging throughout the presentation. The process of getting our full roof replacement was very quick, despite the weather pushing our job back a few days. The crew working on our roof was very nice and happy to answer any questions that we had. The final product is simply beautiful, and we have gotten many compliments and questions about our roof. We are very happy with the final outcome and the company itself.
This company is awesome. I would highly recommend them to anybody. The workers kept everything clean they didn’t goof around they got the work done even though it poured down rain for 10 minutes. After they were done they took a magnetic roller roll that around the yard at least five times to make sure everything was picked up as far as nails. The couple that came to pick up the dumpster were extremely friendly thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them
***DO NOT ALLOW ERIE CONSTRUCTION IN PITTSBURGH TO DO YOUR ROOFING WORK*** I have never had an experience so poorly handled as I did with Erie, when it came to just setting up the job. I negotiated the price down to what was comfortable for my budget, gave a deposit. After a week of not hearing from anyone to schedule the job, I called and spoke with Chuck McGuire (sales manager) and he assured me that he would contact me the next day. Four more days passed and I got in touch with the installation manager, named Mike, and he assured me that he would call. Along the way, I somehow got an inquiry on my credit report from Erie even though I purposely withheld my social security number. I explicitly explained to the salespeople that I would be paying cash for the job, and they had me take a screenshot of my bank account to prove I had enough money to cover the job. I was irate, spoke again with Chuck about this and he offered me a $200 gift card upon completion of the project. A few days past and I still had not heard from Erie about scheduling the job, and this was now 2 weeks after signing paperwork and handing over the deposit. I became so frustrated with Erie that I scheduled the roof work through another company and had it completed. Only after telling Erie that I had another company offering a bid did I hear from Chuck about scheduling the work. I'm so happy I went in a different direction, though two weeks after cancelling the job through Erie I am still waiting to hear when my deposit is going to be sent back to me. I will be filing a BBB complaint as well. ***STAY AWAY FROM ERIE CONSTRUCTION OF PITTSBURGH***
I recently met with two representatives from Erie Construction, Chris Kelly and Jason Shultz. We discussed roof replacement options for my home and garage. They were both very professional. Jason gave me a very detailed demonstration of their products, both metal and fiberglass. He also compared their product quality to the typical roofing material used by most installers. Chris and I discussed pricing and although higher than your typical install, I thought the estimate was fair. Even though I am not under contract with them, they will be my choice in the near future. Just remember, "Good ain't cheap and cheap ain't good!"
I was very pleased with the workmanship and commitment to the job Davis and his assistant were doing. There were a couple time during the work I was a little upset at the way thing looked, but David took the time to explain to me what was being done, and way things looked like they did at the time. I am overly happy with the completed job and would highly recommend Erie Construction. Again job well done David!!
