Had Old Dad Shook repair some damage to my roof that was created by city workers. They came out early on a decent day in January and finished everything up by 2PM. Nice looking work, and better yet no more leaks. The work was done 5 months ago and we have had absolutely zero problems. Pretty decent price too!

I have used Shook on two occasions now and I could not be happier with my decision. The second time I used them, I was selling my house and needed some work done from the inspection. Although they were very busy on other big projects, they were able to jump over to my place to get it done knowing the buyer wanted it done ASAP. I dealt with the owner, foreman and assistant in the office. All three of them were very nice and great to work with. I highly recommend Shook for any project.

Hired Old Dad Shook to do a job ... when it wasn't finished, the owner called me requesting final payment. I did not want to make the final payment prior to having an expensive job finished for my concern that the project wouldn't be completed, but would be fully paid. He was belligerent stating he has been in the business for so many years ... I told him as a matter of principle, I would hand deliver the balance of the project cost to his office, which I did ... the same day we spoke. In the next couple of weeks, unscheduled, unbeknownst to me, his team finished to the project. Unfortunately, the job they finished was substandard and did NOT match the rest of the house/roof. Terrible service and attitude. Had scheduled another meeting. He stood my up. Horrible.

Called and emailed about a problem. I received a poorly written email response from a Gmail with the name "shook" in it. Upon my reply for clarification as to when exactly they were going to come out and see the problem I received a more menacing email in all caps with a specific day. I replied in confirmation, that day came and went, I have never heard anything back since. Can't imagine what the work quality is if they get angry at the sheer idea of showing up to talk about it.
