The estimator from RickJohn was very personable and we believe to be very sincere. We were looking to have maintenance done to our slate roof, including sealing ridges and valleys and the replacement of broken tiles. We hired RickJohn based on how well the estimator explained the work to be done and what they were going to do. We had confidence in the work to be done. What we received was much different. The estimator called us several minutes before the roofer arrived, followed immediately by a call from the roofer saying that no one was home. We would have met the roofer at the site if we knew he was coming. I did go home at lunchtime to see how the work was progressing. I found the roofer walking across our back slate roof. I was shocked by this and asked if he should be walking on the 80-year old slate tiles. He responded that this was OK if you knew what you were doing. It was hard to hear him over the radio he had cranked up on the back of his truck. We were promised that the valleys and ridges would be sealed, but we found one of the valleys to still have leaves in it when we came home in the evening. We have been worried about our roof given how much it was walked on while the roofer was working. The difference between what was promised and what was delivered was disappointing.

I had two leaks at my house, and one at my business building. None were fixed he first try. These leaks were difficult. I had other companies try, and charge me, but ultimately fail to fix the problems. This company stuck with it and ultimately solved all three problems.
