I don't know about their services, but this company needs to review their drivers capabilities and possible sobriety. A male, wearing a hat and glasses, was driving one of their trucks and was swerving erratically, hitting the construction wall on the shoulder and going into the other lane. He was being extremely dangerous that I almost called the police. He is going to kill somebody if he continues. If they can't drive a vehicle, who am I to trust their quality of services. This happened on 95 south at 7:30pm on May 12th, approx. Mile marker 5.6 In case the company wants to figure out who it was.
We needed a leak repaired around a PVC pipe that was exiting through our roof. I was given an estimate and followed up with a call to make sure the materials that were listed would be a sufficient solution to the problem. I was told yes. ** *BE WARNED, that the estimate invoice states REPAIR WORK: Roof repairs CANNOT be guaranteed.*** That being said, after paying for a leak to be repaired, our roof was still leaking, same as before the repair. They did come back out to try to continue to fix the leak, but that was unsuccessful. When I called to report that the leak was still as steady as before repairs had begun (two weeks after the initial job), I was told that they could offer me a credit towards a new roof. After about 20 minutes of back and forth, we settled on a 50% refund. I was told that they risk their life going up on roofs. They have bills to pay also. They make sacrifices when taking jobs like this. As professionals, I would have rather heard that the job was unusual, and they lacked confidence in being able to successfully repair the leak. *Update: the repair was completed by my dad, who is not a certified roofer. Lesson learned, and very thankful for Dad's handy work!* See photo for repair work completed by Huntington Valley Exteriors.
Please learn how to drive. Turn on red is allowed in PA. If you are that bad at driving I would not hire you as a contractor.
