Joe came and gave me fair estimates a day after I initially called him. He responded to every call or question within 15 minutes. He worked fast and was very clean and organized. I recommend him to anyone needing roof work. You can tell he knows what he is doing and cares about his work!

I called Shook roofing because I had a leak in my 2nd story ceiling. I had called numerous other roofers with varying results: no shows, no answers, etc. Joe returned my call and came out the very next day, right when he said he’d be here. He was thorough in explaining what he thought the issue was and how he would fix it. He said he’d send me over the statement later that day and he did. He said he was finishing up another job and would call in the next few days to schedule mine and he did. True to his word he showed up on time and did exactly what he said. He worked was very diligent and detail oriented. I would highly recommend Shook Roofing, indeed I already have to friends and neighbors.

Joe Shook has been my go to roofer for several years now. I love the fact that I can trust him implicitly. I have found over the years that: Joe is extremely professional; keeps in touch once you contact him; lets you know when he can put your roof on his list of current responsibilities; comes when he says he'll come; takes pictures showing you exactly what the problem is with your roof; writes a proposal telling you what he's going to do; how much the repair will cost and how long it will take; frequently takes pictures afterwards to show you what he did; tells you exactly what materials he used and why he used them; and cleans up after himself. If the problem recurs, he comes back. All this and he's pleasant to deal with too. Getting a roof fixed is risky, a roofer can tell you anything and you have no way to verify the problem, the fix, or the price. But with Joe, you can have trust that he is doing exactly what is needed, for a fair price, and if it doesn't work, he comes back. I have recommended Mr Shook to a number of people, and have recommended him on the NEXTDOOR site, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a roofer. I do want to put my recommendation in context, I am a 76 year old woman, living by myself now, and have trouble trusting repair people since they seem to consider me an easy mark. I have never had any doubt that Mr Shook is beyond honest and will continue to recommend him highly.
