So we got windows in our whole house from them a few years back. First time they came out Tom had to come out because josh and his girlfriend (as he referred to her) were late. Tom was very nice! He measure our pre-existing windows. Josh and the girl show up about an hour later. She refused to come in because she didn’t have time to do her makeup (according to josh) josh remeasured our windows and came up with different measurements than Tom . Ok no big deal. Than a week later the installer came out and remeasured and got completely different measurements than Tom and josh. Thank god he did because none of our windows would have fit. So josh is a typical salesman fast talker and good at what he does. They brag about their Angie’s list rating. And show you the Angie list review as proof. We got the quote and agreed to go ahead with their top line windows (at the time). So when you go to sign the contract they hit you with a “gag” clause saying you can’t discuss their prices with anyone else. I understood why because of competition under cutting their price. And also a 5 star rating on Angie’s list was part of the deal. We flat out told josh we would not do that unless we got 5 star service. Otherwise we just would not right an Angie’s list review. He agreed that was ok. We orders our windows ( most were custom sizes) in march they were to be instilled beginning of July. Finally in middle of August the windows came in and were installed. Only issues with the windows were the way they were formed had a lot of extra plastic material in the corner of the windows so they wouldn’t open all the way. So the installer had to take a razor blade and clean up the corners to all the windows so we could open them all the way. The issue with installing the windows was our old window were built into the frame. So the metal slides were midered and screwed in to the actual framing of the window. Which was visible from day one with our old windows they just never noticed it. So instead of 1-2 days of installing it took 4 days because the installer had to actually cut out the old tracts in order to attach the new replacement windows. The 3rd day Tom showed walked right into our house right past us without saying a word. Went to the back room and was asking the installer what was taking so long. He than walked out of the house, right past us no hi no nothing. So we felt that was a bit rude on his part. We attempted multiple times throughout the time we ordered to the time we received the windows to call them and no one ever answered the phone. 2-3 days later they would return our phone call. But when we were waiting on the finance check from the company she called me every day to see if we got it yet. If it wasn’t for the installers professionalism and knowledge they wouldn’t have even got a 3 star rating. Also if you choose to order double hung windows from them make sure you get full screens. We did half screens and if you have the top window open you can slide your entire hand between it and the screen so bugs get in very easily. Especially stink bug! But you get what you pay for.

AJ's crew replaced 13 windows for our house, one being a bow window. They were punctual, neat, and efficient, and were flexible with working around our kids during the two very hot summer days. This family-operated business gave a reasonable quote and were easy to work with!

Had them replace siding and gutters, I had the old aluminum siding in which I was going to scrap myself. After the installers took 3 loads I brought it to their attention and they had the guys stop taking it. They preached how clean the site would be after they were done. . . I still am finding nails in my yard 3 years later and that was after all the cigarette butts were picked up after I complained. Once or twice a year a piece of siding falls off and they have to come out again. It's not worth the 17k they got me for. I work long hours on the railroad and didn't have time to do it myself though if I did it would be more square. They are friendly and also local. I like to keep business local. Just wish they weren't pushy to move so quick so I could've shopped a bit more.

DO NOT USE A J WINDOW AND DOOR SOLUTIONS! The sales people are nice and tell you their sending out high quality, experienced workers to do the job. The installers did a lousy job on the siding, gutters, and downspouts. I'd been having them come out over a year to do repairs. Although, this is how they do it... 1. You explain the issue that needs to be repaired in detail on the phone. 2. They send someone out and you show them the issue, in more detail. 3. They send out a couple of bone-heads who have no idea what's going on to do only a small fraction of the repairs. Then the cycle continues, again, and again.
