Allen and Joe came out, assessed the damage to our metal roof and had problem resolved in very short order. Professional, sociable and reasonable, plus they cleaned everything up when done. Would highly recommend Gordy Roofing to anyone with a roofing problem !

Gordy roofing installed a metal roof on our new home in 2005. It began leaking several months ago and I called them multiple times to inspect for repair and each time I am told they are very busy but someone will call. I have not once received a call back. They know they installed the roof when I called and I can only guess they do not want anything to do with the repair. I recently contacted another roofing company for repair and after an inspection they told me the leak was due to shoddy work. We have a wrap around porch with identical pitch transitions on both sides of the house and both sides are leaking in the exact same spot. The new roofer told me the trim was done wrong and should overlap the lower porch panels for drainage but it was cut short and just filled with silicone which has deteriorated over time and created the leak. At this point I would not recommend Gordy for any metal roofing since apparently they do not stand behind there work, and would not even come out and look at it. Mr. Gordy, I feel I must reply to your response. The leak and call you are referring to occurred well over two years ago and is totally unrelated to my complaint. The leak I'm referring to is in the roof transition area above the porch on the front of the house (opposite site of the house from the plumbing vent). Also, I realize the roof is over 14 years old, which as you know is not that old for a metal roof and I did not expect to not pay for the repair. My issue is that since your company installed the roof, I wanted to use your company for the repair but after explaining the problem on multiple phone calls noone ever called me back to even take a look. Also, being that the roof is leaking in two places and each place is exactly where the roof transitions to each side of the porch and both places were filled with silicone, I know this is not proper construction for a metal roof, or any roof for that matter. I do not expect anything further from your company and am not trying to get a free repair, but I would think it would be a good practice to respond to customer's phone calls as efficiently as you respond to a poor google review.
