I volunteered to general contract a home for free in Bastrop, Texas saving them $40,000. The home was for Ty Carter, a disabled Amercan veteran. He is one of only seven Medal of Honor recipients living in Texas. He is a true American hero. Eric, the owner of Horizon construction, heard about the project, and volunteered to donate the roofing labor for free. He also got us his contractor's discount for the materials. They did an outstanding job on Ty Carter's home, and they completed the project very quickly. Thank you Eric, and Horizon Construction. We did this project for an organisation, based in Houston, named Texas Sentinels. Ty was given a mortgage free home in June. Please donate to Texas Sentinels. 97% of every dollar donated go to the veteran. Thank you again Horizon Construction
Chris came out after the hail storm we had in Elgin. He inspected our roof and, to my surprise, said there was no damage. There had been a couple other roofing guys that stopped by before Chris. One just wanted to put a sign in my yard and the other said there was damage and I needed to call the insurance company. Chris was honest and educated me about calling the insurance company and issues it might cause. While I don't need roofing work right now, when I do, Chris is the guy I'll be calling!
