If I could I would give a rating of -5 stars. There was a lot of talk about what would be done when Hector met w/us & our insurance adjuster. Not even 1/2 of the work was completed. It's been 2 weeks since they received the last payment & we still have work that has NOT been completed!

Best roofing company that you can find in DFW. Michael Lawrence was our sales rep and did a great job managing the entire process. The crew did a great job, our new roof is beautiful and the crew who repaired the windows and screens were very professional.

GET EVERYTHING in writing in ADVANCE if you deal with Showtime Exteriors OR Cross Country Contractors. EVERYTHING. Two big issues I had with them. First, the project manager Michael Lawrence. Before I hired showtime I had a list of questions I asked him. One was if there was a warranty for BOTH the materials and workmanship and he said yes. I realize I should have gotten it in writing, but I didn't. Oh boy lesson learned. So I hired them based on his answers. After the job was done I texted and emailed him for a week asking for a copy of the warranty. First he said it's in the contract he gave me. I told him no, you didn't give me a copy. When I signed you said you'd get it to me in a few days and never did. Then he said he'd get the warranty to me and he didn't. I emailed again, this time he told me to call Cross Country for it. Sheesh. So I called Cross Country just now and got another run around before getting transferred to an ops manager who finally said he'd email it to me. Still waiting for it. By the way, it's about two months now since I hired them to do the job. Another issue: The crew that did the work was headed by a woman named Carolina. I don't know if she and her team are employees of Showtime or sub-contractors. She drove a truck with "C&H Roofing & General Construction" owner Carolina Garache. But since she kept asking us about her coming back to do other jobs for us, I tend to think she was a sub-contractor, or rather a sub-sub contractor. She and her team did fairly good work but with some shoddy slip ups like came home one day and some shingles were standing up. Asked her about getting back up and laying them back down and she said the wind would. I pointed out there is nothing in front of our house for miles, and we only get north wind which would only blow the shingles that direction, not the opposite. There are too many houses etc behind, we never get wind from the opposite direction. She wouldn't. I had to contact another person at the company, I think his name was Johnny, he said he was a mgr, to get her to do it. When she painted (she did some wood replacement too), her guys got paint on doors and all over the carport. I asked her to please clean it up and she blamed us, said we must have opened the door too soon. Neither of us were out there. I'm transitioning out of a wheelchair and my husband was at work. So once again I had to contact someone at the company to get them to make her do it. I'm convinced she's not an employee since she kept trying to get me to hire her for more jobs in the beginning. Maybe that's why she was a bit sloppy, because she couldn't get more work out of us. Who knows. It bears repeating. I realize most folks know to get everything in writing before hiring someone but it really needs to be done with Showtime Exteriors. And, definitely do not pay until messes are cleaned up, paint.. nails, etc, and copy of contract and warranties are in hand, or emailed to you.
