Walter came out from Davidson to take a look at a leak I was having on a house we just moved in to. He was able to fix it quickly, show me pictures of what was going on, and also some other issues on roof area. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and quick. I had another roofing company out and they were flaky and had an extreme price tag for what I needed done. Davidson earned a loyal customer.
Davidson Roofing fixed a leak around my chimney and several other minor leaks coming through nail holes about 4 years ago. I check in my attic a couple times per year during heavy storms and all of their repairs have held up well. They did a great job!
A very poor way to do business we call them they wouldn't call me back the called him finally they call back and I said yes we can set up an appointment we set up an appointment didn't come on the post a Time came out a different time and went we going to walk on that roof whether we were there or not it just I was just uncanny the way they do business I would never deal with this company unless you check to make more securely thank you
We chose Davidson because of price but then after roof underway we all of a sudden needed all this replacement wood in fact the exact amount brought along on the truck which added 15 % to the cost. Beware of this type of deal and demand all damaged wood to be laid out for proof especially older homes that have boards. Dont make the same mistake we did. Our roof was not leaking and had no damage and it was extremely unlikely all that wood was bad.
Beware ! I was informed by several contractors that they are installing their system incorrectly. Something to do with the way the paper under the shingles is suppose to be fastened. I was told by reputable companies that it it’s required by major brands but they do volume work so elect to save money putting the paper down with I think staples ? Instead of plastic circle fasteners ( I don’t know they were green!) that prevent water in case it leaks. It totally made sense . Just thought it’s worth to mention. I didn’t want to argue with the contractor where it clearly stated online what the right way was
